compared to the upper middle class princesses you have deal with in india i think canadian girls are really sweet and nice.
Canada vs. New Zealand
Without a doubt choose Canada.
New Zealand is a beautiful country, and has great snow fields around Queenstown, but as a country has a small, and not vey diverse economy, outside of the dairy industry which has made, and continues to make a lot of people VERY wealthy, there is no economic attraction in the country. Plus the girls are not anything special, regular white girls many of whom are overweight, & not many latina, arabic or asian girls. When you go to Queenstown it is the Aussie, British and Nordic tourist girls who stand out.
Canada has an economy probably 10x the size of New Zealand, it has a population nearly 10x greater, and in terms of economy is an energy rich powerhouse with strong development in many other industries. In terms of cities is has far greater choice, NZ basically has Auckland (a city), and Wellington (a large town by world standards), and a whole lot of small towns. Canada has a mega city (Toronto), plus other cities with their own unique characteristics. According to the forum Montreal is one of the best cities in the world for a bachelor, plus Vancouver, despite not being nearly as popular is very cool, there is not many cities where you can leave your office in the CBD at 5pm, and be on the ski fields (Grouse) for night skiing at 6:30pm that night. As far as girls goes, well Canada is mostly white girls, but definitely has more girls from other backgrounds.
So in terms of economy and girls Canada wins hands down. In terms of quality of life, well NZ is probably more beautiful, peaceful, relaxed etc, but by the nature of it being small and isolated does not offer nearly as much opportunity for sports, hobbies, nightlife, and other things. Plus NZ is very isolated from the rest of the world if you wish to travel.
So summing it up, Canada 3, NZ 0. Mind you in NZ you can definetely create a good life. But Canada offers more.

I don't think French is necessary. English is very common as it draws the business community there and there are two big English universities in Montreal. McGill and Concordia.
Is this speaking from experience?
I'd tend to think the opposite based upon one past visit. You could definitely get by in Montreal with english, but it's not optimal, anytime you speak to a stranger without knowing french you awkwardly have to start with "parlez vous anglais?" If you're lucky they'll speak good english. If you're not they'll either be poor with english, or be reluctant to speak it. Either way you'll always stick out as someone who doesn't belong. Plus, outside of Montreal's universities, Westmount, and the people who use english for business purposes, the grasp of English by the average Quebecois is pretty shitty tbh, they have very strong accents, and in the Eastern townships, rural Quebec and even Quebec city the english speaking percentage drops hugely.
OP if you decide to move to Montreal you must learn French.

Yeah overall I would tend to agree. Many people come to Montreal for a few years (school, work, whatever) and don't bother learning any French. Now that's fine and most of them get along just fine and actually enjoy their experience here. I mean, get a flat near Mcgill or Concordia University or anywhere else downtown and all you'll hear on the street is English.
But there's much more to Montreal than Ste-Catherine Street. The amount of quality girls, social events and cultural experiences you're missing on if you can't speak both languages properly is through the roof.
Go to Canada (I'm from New Zealand)
There's way more opportunities there for jobs and women. New Zealand girls are arguably the ugliest white girls in the world stated by many travelsers
In Canada you get more bang for buck and is more cosmopolitan with Latinas, Asians, etc. In NZ it's mostly white girls and the quality is really low

I love New Zealand, but I can't see any compelling reasons for you to settle there. Remember it's a small, small country and will feel very provincial. Your economic potential will be limited too. Most ambitious Kiwis emigrate to Australia or other places. While the outdoors are fantastic, the same goes for Canada if that's you thing.
Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.
