RUSSIA II

So the RUSSIA I thread derailed into a political and racial cluster fuck and I didn't see another general RUSSIA thread. If there is one, please merge away.

I'll start the thread off with this cool video I saw earlier (advertisement actually).

"...it's the quiet cool...it's for someone who's been through the struggle and come out on the other side smelling like money and pussy."

Good luck! I was in Moscow for a weekend in August and had a blast. Didn't get the flag, but got three makeouts (one was a "triple kiss" with two girls). I had a taste of Russia and definitely want to go back to Mockba next year for at least a couple of weeks.

There's a reason Moscow is the most hyped city on this forum these days. It's not overhype, I can assure that!

Given what happened in the other Russia thread I figure I'd use this thread to post anything of note that happens on my watch over here. And hopefully there will be plenty to report!! Judging by the past couple of weeks there will!!

Anyway, Sirob and two other forum members made it to Moscow a couple weeks ago and we all met up a few times over the course of the week. Have to say all are great guys and each one has their own certain style and it was a pleasure to meet them and hang out. Was impressed by their game and persistence - basically they persevered even though the weather was awful during their time here, with cold and rainy days mostly and little going on during the week at the bars/clubs.

But the weekend picked up big time. The final night had us all starting out with drinks/dinner at Carabas followed up by hitting a club (Barbados). Things got really good there later on and everyone seemed to be working the ladies well, very fun time and lots of opportunities. Would say that for anyone coming to Moscow that Barbados has been really good to work the past couple of months - lot of hookups all around. This includes a Return of Kings writer who managed to bang a girl in the bathroom that night [Image: banana.gif] , my hookup with a pretty hot blonde who turns out to be some kind of modeling type (seeing her this week, we'll see what happens!) and Sirob sucking face with some girl at the bar (last I saw him) too [Image: smile.gif]

Anyway a good time was had by all and I think we left our indelible mark at least that night. Hope it keeps up over the upcoming long cold winter...and am sure it will.

Hi,

Let me introduce myself quickly: im french and has been living in Moscow for 2 years, and generally interested in all that is said here about Moscow and FSU women.

From my experience Winter is the best period in FSU as drinking, clubbing and fucking are basically the only things to do. Spring and Summer time are not so good as many girls spend the week end in the datcha with family / friends.

Hi arnoux - bienvenue a la forum!

I can go either way with what you're saying. I think Spring and the beginning of Summer in Mosocw are quite good, lots of girls out in short skirts, everyone feeling "Spring Fever" etc. Moscow tends to die down as the Summer goes on, and late July and August are slower. But not as slow as say NYC is in late August.....there is still some stuff going on here as lets face it a lot of people can't afford to leave/take long vacations.

I think it starts to really pick back up again in Oct.-November once the snow hits and darker days come. That usually goes right through to March, when I feel like everyone is so sick of winter and often being sick that things slow down a bit until April/May when it heats up again (say after the May holidays).

Just my two thoughts - I definitely prefer Summer though due to the girls in short skirts walking around, summer decks/verandas, ability to daygame etc.

Thanks for the welcome Akula,

Yes I definitly agree that its more agreable around spring and summer, but on pure night game point of view, winter is not bad at all.

I would suggest also the first week of the year (From 1st of Jan to 11th of Jan). In almost all the FSU countries its national holliday: nobody works, clubs are open everynight and everybody drink thus ONS are far easier at those dates. There are less expats and foreigners also because of christmas and new year date, but for me this is definitly the best time in Russia.

^^^Thx for insight Arnoux and welcome to the forum. I have some travel options for Dec 11th-16th/17th as I'm considering either St. Petersburg (likely my choice) or Moscow during that time.

Thanks for the intel. I was thinking of going in September next year, since I also plan on doing Helsinki (and Helsinki nightlife pretty much dies after summer, I heard).

I imagine the venues that are exploding in summer (like Gypsy for example, which has a terrace) aren't the ones exploding in Autumn/Winter?
