Shared workspace?

Shared workspace?

To do or not to do, a shared workspace.

Pros:
- Invite only, run by one of the top guys in my field in NYC. Would be a constant source of potential business and industry connections, possibly mentorship from senior people in my industry.
- Goal is to grow my revenue by 100% in six months, and by having this exposure, I think it will help.
- 24/hr access, full kitchen, biz address, shipping, a Mac is included
- Its by my old gym I can rejoin.
- It would for me to get out and be social in my industry. I am not a guy that likes to have lunch and drinks everyday with people, I like to work and have a personal life too. This would force me to maintain connections.
- $750/month - as of now for this new business is about 10% of my total revenue per month, for a business I started in April this year.

Cons
- 45 minutes away - two subways to get there. I hate commuting and staying at home has created this really laid back lifestyle where I have lost weight, been consistent in the gym, and have had a really chill lifestyle for a while.
- $750 - I am not cheap, but still, that adds up and I need to see ROI from it. ROI in gaining new business and getting mentorship from someone that did almost exactly what I did and sold his agency for millions.

At the end of the day, all this does is gets me out of the house and connected to my industry, gets me mentorship and a nice place. I would probably go in 3-4 days per week, maybe more.

Love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

Your clients will judge you based on your office.
'Oh it must be expensive to rent one of those, he must be doing well'

There are all sorts of services for this kind of purpose.
You can just rent the address that has a cool name of street eg: 5th avenue new york.
You can have a phone number and they answer with your company name.
You can rent an office when just meeting a client.

If you have to meet your clients time to time, this is the way to go while saving money.

I smell another business opportunity here LOL
You rent out your nice pad to a guy once a week so he can show off to girls while living in a crappy apt. (kind of like AirBnb but totally different purpose)
