Come to find out we were at Capitol Hill and we stopped in the Q Club. Never seen some crazy shit like that before. Maybe it was a dress like Urkel day but we saw this at a few other bars too.

As far as Tacoma. I was compare the Seattle vs Tacoma to the San Fran vs Oakland. Seattle=money, white/Asian. Tacoma=Poor/Black and Mexican. Ft. Somehow this datasheet missed Pesos in Lower Queen Anne...by far the most famous bar in Seattle in the past 10 years when it comes to a meat market......you can literally walk in there and pull all kinds of chicks...

Just back from four days in Seattle.
I was down there for a wedding so I was out every night, both with the wedding folk and without.
First off I took the Amtrak down so I could work and not have to deal with that hell strip I5. I cleared customs at Pacific Central Station in Vancouver which is big bonus of taking the train. The conductor asked me out on a date (guy) but I just channeled my girl game and ignored him. He became very awkward from then on and would try and avoid me.
I Ubered the whole time I was there and had a car lined up from King Street station to my hotel at the Fairmont Olympic. I love the Fairmont group and while the hotel we dope, most of the guests were much older than the Fairmonts I have stayed at in the past. They upgraded me to a huge room on the same floor as the massive suite the wedding afterparty was to be held at.
So far I have been in Seattle for under an hour and have seen only one bangable girl (receptionist, Asian, 7).
Last time I was in town I hit up Uni Sake House in Belltown so I head there. I see a couple decent looking Asian girls (foodies) with some guys. One decent looking girl working. Thats it. I concentrate on my sushi and saki.
After I hit up Gin Bathtub again. Doorman actually remembers me from last summer. Chat with him for a bit and head inside. Take a peak downstairs and then settle upstairs at the bar. Honestly it's mostly inherited money. Lots of old money families and then Hong Kong high net-worth migrants. Salaries and jobs aren't anything special. Vancouver is getting a to point where normal people can't move in anymore. It's just so unreasonably priced. The main influx these days is from Chinese/HK millionaires and Indians who put 2 families in a house.
^ If all the hot girls are hidden away in clubs away from the city in Bellveue that is a bad sign for a city. Supply and access are limited.

The coffee is good. But it's 'side benefit of having to be here anyway' good, not 'come to Seattle partly for the coffee' good. It's not enough to make up for the tattooed, short-haired wannabe lesbians that this place is crawling with.

Summary for Seattle:
-Good looking women are in the eastside suburbs of Seattle (Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, Sammamish). Lots of talent, but women are high maintenance and expect to be spoiled.
-Women in the city of Seattle are fit, but too hipster and not particularly attractive. Lots of them are feminists. Though the University District has good looking women.
-There's a very vibrant nightlife in Pioneer Square (Seattle) and Bellevue/Kirkland. You'll get a decent selection of women.
-The ratio of single guys to single girls is way out of whack because of the IT industry, but honestly a lot of those guys aren't competition.
-The Seattle has a lot of scenic beauty and outdoors activities.
-Real estate prices are overinflated, but not horrendous.
-Rains too much.
-Fairly safe overall.
-Ethnic mix is mostly white/Asian, but there are some black and Latin chicks too.
-Lots of high paying working in IT and software.
-Traffic situation is horrendous.
-Coffee is good.
-Unfriendly people, often referred to as "Seattle Freeze."
-Definitely check out Mount Rainier and Bainbridge Island.
-Pike Street market is a pretty cool place to walk around.
-Check out the clubs Trinity and Element.
Summary for Vancouver:
-Like Seattle, very scenic city with a lot of outdoors activities.
-People, especially girls, are unfriendly and snobbish.
-Women are alright, you get a mix.
-Fairly safe, outside of some pockets of east Vancouver and the suburb of Surrey.
-If you have money, there are amazing options in shopping, entertainment, and dining.
-Lots of nice housing developments in North and West Vancouver.
-Gastown/Granville is where the clubbing action tends to be, it's nothing amazing but still decent.
-Very ethnically diverse, with lots of whites, Chinese, other Asians, Indians, and Persians. If you like Chinese girls, it's a good place to live.
-Black guys will do well in Vancouver. White guys will do well too, as there are a lot of single white girls who can't find BFs because a lot of the guys are dating Asian girls..... and Vancouver white girls tend not to like the Asian and Indian dudes.
-Unreasonably expensive because of all the foreign money (mostly from Hong Kong and mainland China) inflating real estates prices.
-Good transportation options.
-I liked the Bar None club.
Conclusion:
-Seattle is a good place to settle down when you're older, but the skewed gender ratio makes it not a particularly good place for a single guy. It's a good vacation spot, but come for the outdoor scenery and activities, not the women.
-Vancouver is too expensive for normal people to live in. It's a city very much designed for rich people. Though as a vacation spot, it can be excellent. Awesome city, but just too unaffordable and unfriendly women.

Sad, I used to dream of living in Portland or Seattle until I learned of all this years ago.
Santa Cruz seems like the only West Coast N.A. city outside SoCal that has good game opportunities overall.

Keep in mind Canada is much more expensive on the whole than the USA. Its similar to other Nordic countries in pricing. We go to the USA to throw money around because life is just that much cheaper there.
Making a call on prices as an American tourist is biased. If you are Canadian, live in Vancouver, make CDN$$ and have some skills the city is not that expensive. Its all relative. But as an American tourist all I hear is how expensive it is here. So what.
Of course if you want to buy a single family home on a nice lot in a good neighborhood you are in for some shock. House prices are pushing a million for a shit shack.
