I've always associated cottage cheese with dirty vaginas. Haven't eaten a whole lot of it, to say the least...
How do you eat cottage cheese?
I use cottage cheese in place of ricotta cheese for lasagna. Lean ground beef, or shredded chicken, whole wheat lasagna noodles and cottage cheese. Delicious. Can do up some onions and tomatoes and mushrooms in there too.
Four ways:
A) just by itself or as a side dish with eggs, meat, pasta, pristine (in small quantities, maybe a few teaspoons or 40g total)
B) just by itself, or as a side dish, slightly salted (in slightly bigger quantities, maybe 80g total)
C) with ham and toasted bread, pristine (large quantity, about 150g)
D) with flour, butter, milk and vanilla sugar as the middle filling for the Czech "Miša Ržezi" cake (extra-large quantity, about 300g, but eaten in at least ten servings)

Generally, I don't like the taste all by itself, but the more flavorful the overall dish, the more I can eat.

With honey or a sprinkle of raw brown sugar. It gives it that sweet crunchiness.
I just toast up 2 slices of wheat bread and put a big spoonful and make a sandwich. Maybe a pickle on the side. It's good for a quick breakfast when you're running late.

I agree. Love Greek yogurt.
With all the supplements and Apple Cider Vinegar cleaning out your insides you need some dairy with a probiotic to get your gut bacteria back in track.
Couple spoonfuls of yogurt after dinner or before bed is great.

Hot sauce. Hot sauce all the way.
Right out of the tub as a snack or a big bowl with whatever else I am eating.
Have always loved the stuff but the taste and texture can be very different depending on the brand, so I am picky on which I get.

I'm gonna have to try that. I put Sriracha on everything.
How's this sound? Toast, bacon, cottage cheese, hot sauce and toast.

Man that sounds great, I can't eat bread (Gluten intolerant) but hot sauce ( especially frank's red hot sauce) goes great with anything.
Cottage cheese isn't Paleo approved. FAIL!
I eat it with a spoon...I love it.
Try this- cut an avocado in half, remove the pit, scoop out some of the avocado around the hole, fill it with cottage cheese, and top it off with honey. Avocado + cottage cheese + honey. Amazing combination. Cottage cheese + honey (without avocado) is also good. So is avocado + cottage cheese with no honey. Try it
I'm pretty sure dairy proteins are the least efficient kind for your body. Skip it.
Mix the cottage cheese with sour cream, add some chopped scallion onion, salt and chopped parsley. Eat it with a potato, Taste good + bulking foods.
*The sour cream to cottage cheese mix ration is about 1/3 the amount of sour c to the cottage cheese you decide to use.

What the hell no tomato sauce love? Somethings wrong with you guys.
'Healthy' version.
Put that shit in a Bowl and dump some meatballs in marinara with some spaghetti squash
Or just make a meatsauce and eat it with the cottage cheese. It can actially melt pretty well but I prefer just eating half sauce half cottage cheese

It was actually pricey in SP when i was there (about 6$ for 400g) so i would eat my precious cottage cheese with bread, like a good peasant
"Go be fat on someone else's time."
Make sure to eat the full fat (3-5% M.F.) stuff because the "fat free" stuff is full of binders and chemicals like guar gum which can cause stomach problems if it's eaten raw.
I like to use jam with it, throw it onto pasta dishes, eggs, Salmon burger patties, crab cakes, seared fried fish, warm tomato slices.
The Paneer Indian style cottage cheese works good to since you can grill it and use it more as a main protein source in meals.
Cottage cheese, butter, and yogurt are the only dairy products I like to eat, I eat cheese but minimally.
