I'm in Istanbul Sep-Feb as student.
I just arrived, there are a lot of tourist from Europe and other places.
I'm a newbie but I already got lucky with Italian girl who was also student.
Local Turkish are not even easy when they are drunk. My aim is more foreign girls.

Yep. That's what you are supposed to do in Istanbul. I was hanging out with the Erasmus crew most of the time when I used to study there. There are also a lot of foreigners who does their internship. Focus on them. Easier than Turkish girls. Istanbul is a western-minded city though. You could also work on Turks. It's just that you gotta work hard for them than foreigners. Hang out at the bars around Asmalı Mescit and try to build a social circle if you want to bang Turkish chicks. ONS's are very seldom.

There suppose to be bars only for Erasmus students. I couldn't find a site listing them. Also some non-erasmus bars require you to come with female and still pay 30-50 l to just to enter the bar. Where I come from entering a bar suppose to be free.

I'm thinking of going to Istanbul for a few months. Can you rent short term (3 months) easily and what kind of prices for a good quality one bedroom place? Any good portal websites (mass listings of apts) that you can recommend?
Turkish girls are DTF just like any other girls, you just know how to avoid triggering their ASD. Sometimes this is a cultural sensitive thing. Just do what you always should be doing anyway; just get them alone.

Go on craigslist and search for appartments. I think prices depend where you want to stay. I stay close to Taksim and pay 200 euro per month. I have my own room but I have to share the appartment with two other people. I recommend you take appartment close to Istiklal, beyoglu or Taksim since most clubs are there.
