Let's not, I'd rather just drop it, I regret the drunken rant. We chatted via PM and we're cool now, we just didn't vibe well last night for whatever reason, I thought he was a dickhead but he also thought I was being one too so I guess our dickheadedness cancels each others out, time to move on. There's a lot of guys on here who come from different backgrounds, obviously we're not always going to get on well with each other, my rant was out of character and unnecessary and I apologize to the forum member for calling him out like that and to Roosh because I'm sure he isn't cool with this type of forum drama.

I had a blast. All the while enjoying the best food of my life. I looked more into it and decided to hit that place up. It has it all all: adventure, hot women and great food.

The only thing I have noticed so far is that it is a bit harder than the other Latin American countries I have been to. Honestly there is some amazing talent here almost to the level of Colombia, but the obesity problem creates the same problem that happens in the US. The fat girls create a ton of attention for the other girls, this also makes the locals learn game. I think Mexican guys have pretty decent game. On top of that I think it's more traditionally conservative than Colombia or Venezuela. Sometimes one night stands are just not an option, especially if they came with friends.

Last night we went out and just watched hot girl after hot girl pass by. It's a great city here, afterwards Scotian and I opened two friends at a club and spent all night with them. Everything was going smoothly, but conservative culture and 18-25 year olds living with parents causes some problems. Today is Mexican independence day and it's going to be pretty fucking awesome. On top of that the girls from last night are "Muy" excited to see us again tonight, so we will see if we can fix our mistake and get them back to our places much earlier.

I'm really warming up to GDL after being here for over a week now, my Spanish is coming back and I'm getting more comfortable here. I usually don't like to do short one or two week trips (I prefer at least a month or more) because it always takes me a week or more to get used to wherever I am. Here's some more observations about GDL:

-English spoken: I'd say that the locals speak better English than in Colombia but I still wouldn't count on it, our waiter at a restaurant switched to English last night after realizing he spoke it better than I spoke Spanish. Also, THC opened up some girls in the club last night and they all spoke English very well. However, most of the girls I've met in the clubs didn't speak English and I had to talk to them in Spanish.

-Beer: There's some decent selection of local beers and imports at some pubs, both bottles and draught although I don't think that the craft beer scene is very big here. Also, I think the beer may be weaker than in Canada, I drank about six Tecate lights but didn't feel much so switched to Bohemia Obscuro (dark) then Dos Esquis at the club, I probably drank almost 20 beers over the night and still didn't feel all that drunk, I even slammed back a shot of tequila. The Dos Esquis cost 40P and the tequila shot was 80P.

-Single girls in clubs: I wrote in my OP that it was similar to Colombia here in that there didn't seem to be too many single girls out without male friends but I've since changed my mind. There were quite a few girls out at the club last night who didn't have guys with them and 20nation and I ended up hooking up with two of them. As he mentioned, we tried to get them back to our places but they wouldn't budge, lots of dancing and tons of making out though.

-Dancing and make outs: I forgot how well Latina girls dance and how much they like huge make out sessions, especially after spending several months in SE Asia, its something I really missed.

-Flakiness: Internet game is leading nowhere and I've all but given up on it, I did get two numbers while out at clubs and pubs though but they flaked and lead nowhere. I think its because I got the numbers too early and didn't escalate the interaction (didn't go for a kiss or venue change, etc), I basically met them, chatted for five minutes or so then got their numbers and left. Contrast this to last night where I danced, talked and made out with this girl for about three hours and the next day, she's keen on meeting up tonight.

We haven't done much exploring or even ventured out of our four block radius as the Chapultapec area seems to have it all for us, although if I were staying much longer, I'd want to venture out to other nightlife areas because Chapultapec isn't too big. Also, the pubs and restaurants are quite packed from around 1800-2300 but after that the crowds thin out. The club we hit up last night had a decent crowd at around midnight and we snagged a good table in a decent location, then the place filled up by 0100, which was around the time we met the girls. I can recommend staying in Chapultapec to anyone coming to visit GDL. Actually a better hotel would be the Lafayette which is located very close to the pubs and clubs we've been going to, I think the cost was around 700P/night so its still quite reasonable.

Oh ya, one more thing that I have to report, there's quite a few East Indians here in GDL, I spoke to one at the club last night who came from Chennai and he told me that him and his buddies at the club work for some kind of financial services company. I also saw another Indian dude at a restaurant leaving with a decent looking Mexican chica on his arm, so there you have it IRT, Mexico could be a solid bet for ya bud!

I didn't really have it on the radar. I'm actually just here to avoid distraction & learn some Spanish, plus the food is good. I've been trying to finish some work. The next month I'll be focussing only on work and working out.

I'd say speaking conversational Spanish is almost a requirement here as there are very few people speak English. Not speaking Spanish at all has been a handicap for me here: challenge accepted.

Last week I went on my first date here in Mexico with a girl I met in the Lololitas club. With the Spanish I had learned in one week and the help of google translation app, I managed to get her to my place.

She had a bunch of tattoos, so I correctly guessed she would of the less conservative type, and indeed after some token minimal LMR I capture the Mexican flag.

No English spoken the entire interaction.

I guessed she was early 20's but she told me later she was 18. I will need to see her again just to get to read all of her tats haha.

Well 20nation and I had a very feliz dia de independencia last night as we both banged the girls we met the night before, the name of that club where we met them is called Cassette.

The three of us went to centro to check out the big festivities at Plaza de Bandara, we were expecting a huge crowd but it wasn't very good as it was raining all day and Mexicans seem to be afraid of the rain. This is something I also noticed in Colombia, if it was raining on a Friday or Saturday night (which is quite common in cities like Bogota), the bars and clubs are half dead. We thought the big "El Grite" (sp?) was at midnight so we showed up at 2300 but then found out that the celebrations were at 2230, so we missed it, damn. There were still a few hundred people about and lots of food stands and carnival type games, so we chilled there for a bit but again, the rain really killed the vibe.

So we met the chicas from the night before and headed back to the chapultapec area and hit up a live band, rock bar, I forget the name but it was really good. Again, just like the club Casette we were at the night before, at midnight there was a decent amount of people but the place didn't really fill up until after 0100, then it got really bumping. The live band was really good and they played a decent mix of older rock songs (AC/DC, CCR, etc) and newer rock (Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, etc), it wasn't a very authentic Mexican night but we had a great time. The club was a fair size, not too big but had about 250 people in it and the interior decorations, painting, etc were awesome. Also, this bar attracts an upper class crowd it seems, although it was a rock bar, no one there was hardcore into any type of rock/metal scene, just normal looking people (no chicks with tattoos or crazy piercings) but they dressed quite well.

The band took a long break at about 0100 and they turned on the beats which were a good mix of everything from dance hall to old school hip hop to metal to oldies, here's some songs that I recall hearing last night:

Anyway, good club and I'll get the name of as it has A LOT of very pretty, upper class girls in it and prices were reasonable, 35P for a bottle of beer. At 0200, 20nation bounced with this girl, we planned it that he would just take hers and my girl didn't know what was going on so a few minutes later I told her "let's roll", we got outside and she starts texting her friend, wondering (worrying?) where she was, I told her she's gone with my friend and she looked concerned, I had a smoke and for a minute thought I was going to lose this bang but I just grabbed her hand, and led into a taxi and out of the rain. We arrived at my hotel, started kissing shortly after and I ended up banging her easily, we boned a couple of times that night before she left at around 5am.

Also, one thing I should mention about Lola Lolitas is that they enforce some kind of "face control" there, 20nation first told me about it last night and said something along the lines of "they only let really good looking people in there", first I thought, damn, then how did I get in there? Well we asked the girls about this as we passed it by and they said they'll let Gringos in no problem but apparently they discriminate against some Mexicans, including the girls we were with, who won't go back there and I can't say that I blame them. The other clubs we've gone to don't seem to enforce this.

Smoking: For my fellow smokers, a pack of Marlboros is about 40-45P and you can smoke inside all of the clubs although at most restaurants, you'll have to step outside for a puff.

Weed: I haven't smoked here as I"m going back to work in a couple of weeks but I smelled someone openly toking on the dance floor at Cassette the other night, so it doesn't seem to be too big of a deal here in GDL, although I've heard that the quality sucks.

I still haven't made it to PV as I've stayed up partying until and banging til 0500 the last couple of nights, I plan on hitting it up tomorrow if I don't get too wasted tonight.

Ya I'd say so, Mexican women seem to be down for the traveling RVF D, I"m having better results (two bangs) here in ten days than I did last September during my ten day stay in Medellin, but the same as I had in Cali. I think my game has actually improved a bit after my seven month stint in SE Asia, especially when it comes to dealing with LMR. I expect to do a lot better in Colombia next winter than I did last time there, even if I go back to Medellin, but I"m not too sure where I'll end up yet.

For me, night game seems to be better in GDL while internet was better in Colombia, haven't done too much day game in either place as I'm less confident with my sober Spanish than I am at night. I'll give Colombia the edge quality wise as the girls I was hooking up with there were younger (19-22) and 6-7s whereas in GDL they've been older (24 and 28) and not as hot, a 5 and a 6, although I think that if I stayed longer in GDL I could get me some 7s.

I've done pretty extensive research on Mexico, and my conclusion still stands that GDL is the best spot for a longer stay in Mexico. Like (Dash) global warming science my research is far from complete, so don't take it as the law. I couldn't dig up enough intel on other cities like Aguacalientes, San Luis Potosi, or Tampico.

As of now my list is:

1. GDL
2. El Salvador
3. Peru
4. Paraguay

All others don't even register on my boner test meter (Caribbean not included)

The problem with SLP, Tampico, Aguas, and other thrid rate mexican cities is that there are not many clubs/establishments/bars. Most activity is settled in one zone (a few streets), with the same people going there most of the time, and the time frame is smaller (fri-sat). As the new white/black/asian/pocho guy around, your face will be recognized quickly.

For me, only the top 3 cities* and touristy beaches** provide enough fun to spend time there. All else is like visiting Midland or Kansas City on a Wednesday night.

I was there like 6 years ago. I dont have any up to date intel, so im going to save it.

But my guess is that on a weekday, after Dia de la Independencia weekend, you are going to have the town for yourself. (And dealing only with locals and clueless retired gringos)

Aguascalientes: Cool, small town. Young population, cute pretty girls. Growing economically. Might be a good place if you are going to be gaming there long term.

Tampico: Small town mentality. Hot upper class girls, mediocre working class girls. Fewer venues, not though to game, just takes a while to get accustomed.

San Luis Potosí: Dont bother unless you absolutely have to go there. Talent nonexistant. Few and selected hot(ish) women. Very few points of interest.

1 - college towns? Most universities exist in large cities.

Puebla is small and has like 50K (more like 100K) students but poblanas are known to be bitchy and hard to game. You will find Tec, Ibero, BUAP, UPAEP, UDLAP, and UVM here. Puebla's suburb, Cholula, is your best bet. Most of the people there study at one of these universities or know someone that does. Highest student/population ratio of the four.

DF has a crap load of universities (Ibero, UNAM, UVM, ITAM, Politecnico, Tec de Monterrey), but it's a big city and has the mestizo looking girls. You'll find something, but many universities are in different parts of town (~1 hr drive). There is a large college area in southern DF that is called Ciudad Universitaria (University Town - CU), near UNAM, there are many students living near there but many students live in other parts of town too.

Monterrey used to have a large student population, especially Tec de Monterrey and UNAL, but with the violence the numbers have dropped. Many have gone to GDL or DF to study.

GDL has some universities too such as UDG and Tec.
