The show was just released on Netflix yesterday and I found it to be excellent. Like the Office the mocumentary style of the this show focuses on letting the audience watch the humor that arrises with the interactions of some very unforgetable characters set in an English nursing home.

It's alright. Not a patch on the Office though. Also, the over sentimentality of the show, especially the piano bits is awfully contrived, to the point where Gervais would have mocked it ten years ago.

Karl Pilkington is a revelation though, and this didn't surprise me.

Perhaps it will be better received by Americans because they're used to schmaltzy over sentimentality on TV, Brits find it rather cringey.
