Is the power of game exaggerated?

Knowing how to flirt and tease, build sexual tension, turn the conversation sexual, cover logistics, escalate smoothly, not be needy etc will make a massive difference if you don't know how to do it already. So I would say that no, game is not overrated.

I never read The Game, or the Mystery Method, or anything else.

I bought both The Game and Mystery Method exactly three years ago. It was part of my plan to, "Stop being a loser and change my life!" as I went into my freshman year of college.

I was so clueless that I believed everything I read. I even went out and tried some of the stuff advocated in the Mystery Method. For example, I would try to AMOG guys on my floor. I also tried doing a magic trick on a cute girl on my floor as a "DHV" in an attempt to "flip an attraction switch" in her head.

I found both books hidden in my room a month ago. I took them, drove off and threw them into a big dumpster.

The era of Game 1.0 was pretty lame, way too advertised and filled with stuff that didn't work. At first I didn't even bother checking out Roosh because of the 1.0 after taste, until I decided "why not?" and read his blog.

Game is the difference between a broke average looking dude in a 2nd tier city turning bad bitch feminists into maids and fucktoys and a well to do lawyer with 50x the dough taking 3 dates to bang broads in philly.

I believe the opposite.

I think The Power of Game is underrated. Game can change your life in the sense that it can bring you happiness, money, women, respect, power, peace of mind, etc.

Guys think that game is just talking to girls but I believe that it goes much deeper then that. I believe that Game is a tool to unlocking your full potential.

Game can turn a loser into a winner. Game can save your life. What could be more powerful then that?

Game is God -- What I mean is that we are designed to be charismatic, masculine men. Social/Cultural programming "dumbs us down" and feminizes us. Game allows us to return to our natural state.

Game allows us to be who we are are supposed to be.

Giovonny is right. Game is all. Game is negotiating prowess, self respect, domination of one's environment. Trump has game. Jay Z has game. Nietzsche had game. Jesus Christ had very tight game, never letting Pharisees tool him. Game gets high rises named after you and religions started.

Oh, and you get girls too.
