Trouble in suburbia: "Move or Euthanize your Autistic kid"

Quote:Quote:

A criminal investigation is currently underway after the Newcastle, Ont., family of a 13-year-old boy who has autism received an anonymous letter telling them to either leave the neighbourhood or have the boy euthanized.

This reminds me of the phantom Wal-Mart asshole for some reason. Does the recipient of the letter have a history of attention whoring/false charges/drama?

If it's real, obviously it's quite impolite and beyond the pale of decency.

Side question: how old is the mother?

It's funny how she calls all of the neighbors gutless for not telling her to move, yet she drops off an anonymous letter. PRICELESS.

Saw this earlier. You can tell she's very low functioning by her excessive use of punctuation.

Yeah, seems like one of those fake "hate crimes"

Is it wrong that I laughed at the letter, especially the "nonretarded body parts" line? [Image: tard.gif]

I would find out who did this if I was her if its true. And than go on a rampage. It probably is a hoax though.

There's one two doors from me, I shit you not.

He can moan outside for a few hours at a time. I often suspect she locks him in the back yard for her 'Me' time.

Shit like that has to be annoying as hell. With all the political correctness and anti-bullying these days you can't even say anything without it being a hate crime. Good luck trying to sell your house and move away from that craziness. That letter was probably the sentiment of the whole neighborhood and out of frustration.

This letter was definitely way too harsh and indecent but I do think that she made a good point. If you have a child that's wailing across the neighborhood for hours at a time, you need to do something about it. Just like someone has a right to live where they want, other people have the right to tell them why they shouldn't. This is why I hate the idea of "hate speech isn't free speech". Sometimes, the truth is blurted out in a very harsh manner. This is by no means a crime, dickish, but not a crime.

at 0:50 "there's no a mother wrote this..."

a MAN would have made videos of the kid left all alone to wallow for hours on end and called Child and Family services, show them the vodeo of the neglct, and have the kid taken to a foster family.

It's all fun and games until that kid goes full retard strength and pounds another child till the point of disfiguration, then the neighborhood won't be so understanding. But until then the pc crowd is applauding.

If he's unable to attend regular classrooms, what good is it going to do be in a neighborhood with those other kids?

Sorry, but that letter is indefensible. Frankly, if she has a problem with the noise the retarded child is making, she should openly confront and speak to the mother.

But no, she couldn't muster the courage to speak up publicly. Nor did she have the grace and tact to voice her complaints in a civil way.

And anyone who writes a letter with that many exclamation marks and all caps is a little loony. I'd be more concerned living next to this woman than any annoying, yet harmless retard.

^ I read Of Mice And Men in school when I was about 14 and I still remember the scene where Lennie fights back against Curly and crushes Curlys' hand in his own.

I always thought such a thing would be impossible in reality but maybe its something like hysterical strength.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hysterical_strength).
