I posted this on a blue pill forum a few years ago (AskMen) and got blasted. In retrospect the reaction from the manginas and women there was not surprising. Here's the story...
A few years ago I went in for a physical and asked the doctor to do an STD test too. He listed off what they'd check for. When he said herpes I said I didn't want to be tested for that. My reasoning was that if per chance I had it (didn't think I did) I never had any symptoms, and there's no cure anyway so what's the point? I said I only wanted to be tested for stuff that could kill or maim me, and stuff that could be cured.
Unless you actually had recurring symptoms (in which case you'd want a prescription to suppress it), why would a guy with an active sex life and no symptoms want to know if he had the herp? Seems like ignorance would be bliss here. Agree/disagree?
