I sometimes get the feeling that I have a lot in common with the average RVF-Member. Another example.
I think it was like Dan Carlin said, it came down to luck. A Kahn would die just when the Mongols revved to the point of near unstop-ability, and they would suddenly disappear back to the homeland.
I think he called it the "great power-down" of the war machine.
