VIOLENCE against men promoted in the newest KFC commercial

VIOLENCE against men promoted in the newest KFC commercial:

If KFC showed a woman being slapped across then face, it would be condemned by everyone and it would be a huge media scandal.

Men and boys are equally the targets of domestic violence, but remain invisible because it seems it still is culturally acceptable to punch, slap,
hit and emotionally abuse men and boys. Too often it is considered funny [Image: sad.gif]

The commercial is a disgrace and we should do something about it.

What are your thoughts, guys ?

I agree. It also perpetuates the idea that men who hit on women are clowns and not to be respected unless you are Ryan Gosling. You can start by sending an email to the company PR and also stop eating KFC.

I don't know, I actually think it's kind of funny (if misguided).

Get off your MRA victimization pulpit and realize that the real men's rights that need defending are marriage and divorce laws. Guys getting slapped across the face aren't very high on my list of stuff that are existential threats to society.

pump_and_romance, if you are so agressive and entitled, and you don't do nothing about it, noone will do it for you.

You are not ENTITLED to all the rest of us work for you.

Only together united we will fix the sick society that we live in,
and which rapes men constantly everywhere:

98% of inmates are men, simply because laws are made against men, and women are constantly forgiven for their crimes (pussy-pass)

98% of children after divorce they belong to their mothers

98% of men pay alimony for the children which are not even allowed to see after divorce

and so on, the list is endless

We need a class action law suit. I'll sell out my masculinity for a few million.

It's more a comic depiction of a woman being irrational than a promotion of violence towards men. See this for what it is, they are just selling chicken, and trying to be funny about it.

There's nothing funny about violence towards men. We are victims. I say we picket Burger King for this travesty.

First RVF is banned on the BK wifi, now they are slapping men in commercials. Shit's going down. I'll never be able to eat a whopper again without feeling like a victim.

I'd hope that no-one on this site eats fast food on a regular anyway. Those 98% stats sound made up, and also have nothing to do with the topic on hand. You can't just name random injustices in order to get people to care about this commercial.

That said since 98% of people who get punched in the testicles are men we should all email KFC and boycott their food.

Kind of funny. That's a move right out of the Feminist handbook. "Don't have facts to back up your argument? Just make shit up!"

These are all signs that men are discriminated against by the matriarchy.

This man in the video is another victim of the bitch culture.

Quote:Quote:

Bitch culture is a concept used to describe a culture in which bitchiness and bitch made men are common and in which prevalent attitudes, norms, practices, and media normalize, excuse, tolerate, or even condone bitch behavior.

As men we need to stand up against this bitch culture once and for all!!!

Nope.

Who really gives a fuck about this or "bitch culture"

Do members here really care so much that become emotionally affected by shit like this?

"Well hold up Anti, we must fight back against the feminist war machine"

Gotcha, I'm no fan of the misguided movement myself.

But when my puppy shits on the floor, I don't rub his nose in it. I pick up and go back to what I was doing. When he shits outside, I praise the hell out of him. He got the message real fast.

Feminism is like a fire. A fire needs fuel and oxygen to burn. They provide the fuel in the form of their public outcries for equality, opposition against fat shaming, anti-rape messages, or whatever else irks them the wrong way on any given day.

The public provides the oxygen in the form of attention. Without the attention the whole feminist movement is nothing more than some beat up overweight old hags screaming into the darkness. Sure we can't take away all the attention, but theres no need to stoke the fire.

Feminism. Ignore it.

When a girl slaps you and you hold her wrist and she gets a bruise, see if feminism will ignore you.

We live in a system that normalizes violence against men while criminalizing violence against women ("there's never a reason to lay hands on a woman!).

The real world impact is that if you get into a domestic dispute with a woman, you are going to jail.

I know, I know...Another 25 year old is going to say, "Just never get married!"

Right.

Don't live with a woman. Don't ever enjoy fatherhood. Modify your life to exclude some of the greatest joys known to man because of a feminist legal system.

Ignore feminism all you want.

But feminism will not ignore you.

So the theme of the commercial is:

1. I find you attractive
2. You turned me on
3. It got sexual past the point where I have control
4. I told you to stop
5. I came back for more because I had a minute to think about it and decided I liked it

I know this is bordering on MRA territory, but theignoredgender youtube channel is one of the best channels covering misandry.
Even though his primary goal is to spread awareness, he does a great job of logically explaining without sounding like a scornful person about how hatred, especially violence against men is being portrayed in the media.

I completely agree and those are the extreme ends of the spectrum which should be addressed when the time arises.

If a woman beats up her husband and he is on the floor bleeding when the cops show up, he is going to jail. That is bullshit. That is worth fighting over.

If a one night stand regrets her decision and cries rape, the woman's word is held to a higher standard than the man's. That is bullshit. That is worth fighting over.

If the court finds the woman lied about and cried false-rape, rarely does she get a punishment that is equal to the defamation of character and mental anguish that she put the man through. That is bullshit. That is worth fighting over.

I'm talking more about the general day to day bickering back and forth between the feminists and MRA or whatever groups.

When some jezebel fem cat posts her newest profound ideas of ignorance, it may be fun to troll the comments a bit, but its nothing to get worked up about.

When some commercial makes men out to look like idiots, there is no need to be crying out for repercussions. It's nothing new, it's not a sign of the growing reach of feminism, its the marketing department trying to use comedy to boost sales.

As a disclaimer I didn't watch the video. I have also been married and divorced. I have also been the wrong song of a false rape claim. I just think we tend to over-analyze some things when it comes to feminism.

I don't mind the MRAs or Anti-Feminism guys on here based on what they say exactly. I dislike them because of what they don't say. They tell us about all these problems but don't give any solutions beyond unrealistic ones like "don't get married" or "don't interact with women".

To the MRA/Anti-Feminist Types and Uni: You think we don't know about this shit? This is the last place you need to spread awareness. Your constant bleating of "this is wrong" and "that is also wrong" is like saying "You won't get laid if you got no game" or "You miss all the shots you don't take". Great. We got it. What next?

Case in point:

What are your thoughts, guys ?

What are you doing about it? Why don't you tell us what you're doing about it? Maybe some people will be inspired by your example and do the same. Maybe you need help to do something - ask for help.

Just don't patronize us. You ask for our thoughts and I imagine you're not liking what you're getting. Maybe you're hoping for battle plans and but instead you receive opinions on your piece and low ones at that. It's not that we have issue with your intention. It's just that more than one guy has tried to jam these facts down our throats. We're hearing nothing new other than new statistics and new ways to present them to us.

But in reality, we're not learning anything new other than "99 Statistics on why you're fucked for being born with a penis in today's world". At this point it's just noise. We're a practical bunch - stop "informing us" and appeal to our practical natures - with things we can actually do about this.

If there was a duality of:

Ignore feminism<-------------------------> Activism against feminism

I would be leaning heavily towards the left. I'm not one to be an ostrich that buries its head in the sand, but honestly, feminism and the modern Americunt don't affect my daily life all that much. These days, I've been spending more time with my Filipino gf and working my ass off and making money, and honestly, to the rest of the guys in the U.S., I'd recommend doing the same. Find a foreign-born gf that takes care of you, make your money, find your happiness. Run the bare minimum of approaches just to keep some chops up, but save most of your resources for gaming outside the country.

Do what you love. Work on cars, play an instrument, cook for yourself, read, hang with your friends, surf, hike, rock climb. Life is too short and there's far too much to do to get too wrapped up in what the media/government/Matrix are doing.

I don't have a T.V. so I never see the shit above, so it never gets to me. I don't eat fast food and for the most part I'm not too wrapped up in the typical American lifestyle. This isn't a matter of "if you ignore it it'll go away". This is a matter of, "If you unplug from it, it won't have the resources to continue". I don't have any actual hope that everyone will suddenly turn off their TVs and stop eating fast food and go out and start exercising and reading, but there's nothing I can do about that except work on my own life.

You don't like what the idiot box tells you? Do this:

Don't like the image that fast food advertising is promoting? Stop eating fast food. Don't like the underlying misandry that permeates Hollywood movies? Don't watch them. You don't need to make a big deal out of it either. Street protest is useless. Vote with your dollar. In a capitalist society change comes about through economic means.

In the meantime, whatever your ideal is, whatever you think is the shining example of masculinity, BE that. Not only will you not give a shit about "Misandry in the Media" anymore, but you will directly counteract the effect those ads and media portrayals have on society.

Trust me, the world needs masculinity. I know I'm not the only one on these forums that experiences funny little incidents here and there; making sexist remarks, being cocky, ballsy, walking around with a devil-may-care attitude, and while doing so being met with nothing but flirtation and affection from other women. There can be 1,000,000 laws in place that outlaw masculinity; it doesn't matter. Women still need it. The demand goes up and the supply goes down every year. The way to beat feminism isn't by arguing or even discussing facts, presenting court cases, etc etc. That's bitch-work. The way to beat feminism is by being masculine; a hard-headed, sure-footed, un-flappable, un-phased, strong-willed MALE.
