"I Was Raised To Hate Men"

http://m.xojane.com/family/i-was-raised-...t-feminism

Dumbass admits feminism runs along a continuum about feelings about men.

Claims she had a horrible upbringing related to feminism, but then states she desperately needs feminism.

Of course, she needs hatred of men to shore up her sense of self.

She even excuses her mom's behavior, saying she has apologized for a few things. Bullshit. A man, white people, etc. don't get away with shit even remotely related to hatred, but apparently women can be haters and not get admonished.

Don't worry, though, the commeters are quick to decouple feminism and hatred.

Whew! Wouldn't want them confronting their own hatred & anger!

It's just a meandering story about a troubled upbringing with no conclusions other than "we still really need feminism," and "teaching your children to hate all men is wrong" (yeah, thanks for the moral guidance). She brings up misandry, but doesn't comment on it essentially because it doesn't affect her comfortable little bubble.

I used to find it utterly inexplicable that feminists were so diametrically opposed to MRAs. I saw both of them as representing an important part of the picture of "equality." I couldn't understand why feminists, who claimed to be in favor of equality, couldn't validate the MRA perspective. The reason I found it so inexplicable was essentially because I considered women to be the same as men. That the general female character was comparable to the general male character in society.

What I've since realized is that feminism isn't really the problem, the current problem is the female character, feminism is merely a reflection of where the female character is currently at in this society. When you read articles like this you realize what lost children many women in our society are. I still agree with MRAs, but criticizing feminism is meaningless, it's women that need to be criticized, just as men have been.

Her mother is freaking psycho. I'm more concerned about her brother. Hopefully he turned out ok.

What I find fascinating, and this is simply anecdotal evidence as far as I know, but every single case of "bad" gay parenting I've read has involved lesbians rather than gay men. It's like female solipsism reacts with the lesbianism such that the bulldyke and her cow (if the top one is the bull then the bottom one is the cow right?) can't seem to see their children as being anything other than little copies of themselves. Hence you have all the stores about lesbian couples trying to push transsexualism or at the very least transvestism on their boys, and pushing their daughters to be lesbians like in this article. Even in the least of these situations the mothers are still constantly telling their male children that they should be ashamed of themselves for simply existing.

So I'm rather curious if gay men do the same thing at all and there are simply far fewer gay male parents (no shot in hell at getting the kids in a divorce) such that there's just no examples online, or if gay men are actually better parents. They don't seem to have the animosity towards women that lesbians have towards men, and there's never been any sort of organized gay male movement trying to claim that putting one's dick in a pussy is some sort of ideological transgression against one's gender.
