If anyone really cares about working Americans, it's a Republican senator from Alabama. Nothing to do with his party's impending demographic death because without a majority of whites to terrify, he's screwed.

As someone who just isn't afraid of brown people, he sounds more like a demagogue than a hero.

It's also funny to hear The Weekly Standard talk about elites. This is the main publication of the elites that gave us the Iraq War.

I don't understand that has to do with my comment. I'm not talking about Bush vs Obama or even Republicans vs Democrats. The Weekly Standard is a neoconservative publication and the neocons were the chief intellectual backers of the Iraq War. So to hear The Weekly Standar talking about uncaring elites is kind of funny.

How do you work that out? I recall the congressional support for the Iraq war to be almost unanimous. Except for Obama, peace be upon him.

Hopefully, this will end with a widescale purge of neocons from the GOP. They're as bad and progressive as the Democrats, and hate the historical USA just the same.

Again, I don't understand exactly what you're objecting to? Did I say something positive about Obama? I made a specific point about neoconservatives. To Obama's credit, he did have the sense to vote against te Iraq War. Of course, he got in office and continued just about every one of Bush' policies.

In 2008, I didn't vote. And in 2012, I voted for Gary Johnson. So if you think that my criticism of the right is a defense of the left, that's not me. It's Coke vs Pepsi as far as I'm concerned.

Interesting fact, people actually DID choose pepsi over coke 9 times out of 10. Which led to "new coke". The problem was that pepsi was so sweet that people didn't like it as much as something to continue drinking because of said sweetness.

I just wanted to clarify what you were saying, it sounded as though you felt the neocons were the only elitists around.
