Adding Lemons/ Limes to Water

This from the cash and carry works great for me. Almost fill the bottle then squeeze in.

I tend to like a lot of lime juice. Anyone know if too much can make you too acidic, especially if also on ACV?

They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety- Benjamin Franklin, as if you didn't know...

You can also make watermelon juice.

Watermelon juice recipe.

It's the easiest juice in the world to make.

Throw some mint into a large (32 oz/quart) mason jar. Then add the watermelon juice and refrigerate.

It's outstanding and will actually help heal sun burn.

I've been considering this...getting one of those large water "taps" you see at parties and filling it with ice, lemon, cucumber every day...or at least when i get home from work or something and drinking water all night.

Damn, bro, I thought my house had all the juicing essentials.

I gotta get some of those.

Has anyone ever tried to mix Japanese green tea, mint leaves, lemon and honey?

I want to throw it all in some warm water for 5-10 minutes, but I think it will have a bad taste.

Watermelon will give you wood, it's causes blood vessels /arteries to dilate like argenine.

I keep 3 32 oz Ball mason jars in the fridge at all times with any given concoction of:

lemon/lime/orange
cucumber
cucumber/mint
green tea with mint or lime

Dark berries like blackberries or raspberries work well too. Squash a few before adding h2o. I mix up the recipes and leave in the fridge over night. Doing this has caused me to drink a lot more h2o and stay away from sodas or anything sugary.

How long would those juices (lemon, lime) stay good for in mason jars in the fridge? I like the idea of juicing a bunch beforehand, but I'm always paranoid about some shit going bad and I throw it away before I should.

Also, I've always heard the oxidation kills lots of the nutrients in juices, etc when it is prolonged to it.

Are there any tips to keep seeds out of your glass when you're squeezing lemons into your water?

I use a wire strainer. If you're skilled you can catch them with your fingers (as long as your hands aren't chapped...)

If only you knew how bad things really are.

1. Don't squeeze the lemons into your water, squeeze them into a serperate glass/bowl/jar and then remove the seeds by hand before pouring the juice into your water.

2. Use one of these:

3. Use one of these:

4. Just spit the seeds out as you drink the water.

5. Just eat the seeds.

I just saw this thread and thought it was awesome. Bumping it for other members of the forum/new people to see.

You can also get large 2 liter glass milk jugs to drink out of (with a convenient bucket style plastic handle to carry by) at whole foods. You just gotta down a bottle of grassfed organic milk and then the jug is yours. Total cost: $5 for the milk + $2 for the bottle deposit.
