A little short on specifics. We have never had a culture until now where it's socially acceptable to not be married. We will see how many men can achieve things without a great woman behind them and a focused (restricted) sexual life. I think this article brings up a very good point...sex (whether with someone else or yourself) is a tremendous drain on physical and mental energy. This is something that was well understood by most cultures in the past. I know that contemporary medical science tends to disregard this claim, but my experience and intuition strongly confirms that there is something to the idea.

Too much sex makes me tired, cloudy-headed, and lazy, just like jerking off. I always feel more energetic and motivated when it's been at least a few days since I've shot a load.
