Ohio State RB kicked off of team for "striking" a woman. Video shows otherwise.

The alleged victim filed a police report Saturday, claiming she had been assaulted by an unknown man she believed she could identify by sight. Hyde was not named in the report or arrested, but was later named a "person of interest" as police investigated.
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer suspended Hyde indefinitely on Monday, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Charges are not expected to be filed against Hyde after video from Sugar Bar 2 shows he didn't appear to make contact with an alleged victim who claimed to have been assaulted early Saturday morning,

The source said video shows Hyde speaking in the direction of the alleged victim just prior to her punching him in the head. The video then shows Hyde leaving the area and reaching back in the woman's direction in a non-confrontational manner, the source said. From the video, it doesn't appear Hyde ever made contact with the woman – either before or after she struck him, the source said.

I just think this is hilarious because probably 99% of the guys on the college football board that I frequent were out for blood. I was roasted for giving him the benefit of the doubt until facts were straight.

Once again, it looks like A. women feel like they can hit me with no repercussion B. women can make false claims without repercussion.

This is just the kind of thing which makes me wish blatantly obvious false claims/reports were treated with equivalent punishments to the claimed crimes. This cunt was going to ruin his life over what? Fuck her.

Anddd she hasn't been named in the press nor charged despite his being struck, on video, unwarranted and unprovoked. The Pussy Pass strikes again.

I honestly believe an effective deterrent would be punishing people who file false claims and reports. Having a woman accuse you of something and bending the system to her will is like playing against her in a game of Street Fighter II, but she put in an invincibility code and you're trapped in a corner getting combo'd to death by the media, the courts, and other political activists.

This would terrible if it wasn't Ohio State. I hope he gets fully exonerated and returned to the team the day after the season ends.

Urban Meyer has a history of keeping guys with criminal inclinations. Chances are either this dude is a scrub or did something really bad.

Or history is out the window due to increased scrutiny on (the perception of?) male athletes and/or sports personnel get away with whatever they want, e.g. Penn State, Steubenville, Vanderbilt

You honestly believe if the guy wasn't suspended, certain factions in the media wouldn't be talking about how Ohio State "supports a culture of violence against women"? And there wouldn't be a petition on Change.org for the termination of Urban Meyer as coach?

College football players have gotten away with doing a lot of shitty things in the past decade and there is no massive movement that says college football fosters an atmosphere of violence of women. You think he is the first player to hit a woman? Plenty have in the past and no one remembers their names.

My best guess is the Aaron Hernandez stuff forced him to take action in this case.

Ask Maurice Clarett, he might know.

You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.
