From some one who has been there. Don't go. Not even for the backpacker girls. A large part of them are 4's 5's and 6's anyway with the occasional 7.

Unless you are seriously interested in local culture and history and are prepared to get very very sick over there, don't even think about going to India.

I can't put my finger on it but over 1 year of extensive travel I ran into a total of 3 backpackers chicks that were "hot". There was the occasional 7 sprinkled in as Neal pointed out. But my experience is mostly a bunch of 5s that think they are 9s because the backpacker dudes are terrible at gaming locals and settle for them. I hooked up with one in a year (fly Swede) and took a firm pass on the rest. My focus was always on the much hotter locals (was in EE and SA) and not settling for ego inflated 5s.

I've heard India is a pretty interesting place. I also hear traveling there is pretty intense. Obviously it's not a place to go bang women, but regardless I still want to check it out t some point.

Glad I went but I won't go again

This exactly what people I know who've been there say. It looks like the type of place you'll either love or hate.

I'd like to visit just for the experience, but it doesn't sound like the type of place to go if your main goal is to swoop girls, or if you're obsessed with cleanliness.

I visited Mumbai after SEA.

As long as you only drink bottled / boiled water, avoid cold foods and wear mosquito repellant in the tropical areas, you probably won't get sick in India.

Sorry, but that's bullshit. I have met dozens of travelers who went there and they all got sick at one point.

I traveled in India with a group of 24 on a tour when I was a traveling newbie. All of them got sick too.

It's interesting alright and I can advise people who are generally interested in local stuff to go there.

To also answer Bacon's question, There are tons of interesting places to go, like Agra, Jaipur and Varanasi. I've been to the birthplace of Buddha (twice, as it is debated where it is) and the grave of Gandhi. The floating human corpses of Varanasi with people brushing their teeth with the same water was interesting too.

The fact that it feels that you're on a different planet with the most unhygienic scene you will ever experience is reason enough to visit.

My advice, visit neighboring Nepal. Now that's a beautiful country full of culture. Kathmandu has a good night scene also and there are enough tourist girls around if you feel giddy [Image: smile.gif]

I can only "recommend" the places I went to.

Landed in New Delphi, took a bus to Jaipur. The road there is very interesting to see. It's 200 km's of roadside shops and 8 hrs of loud traffic insanity. The roadsides are so crowded that you might see half a million people on the way to Jaipur.

Jaipur has beautiful ancient palaces. The downside is that it's also very dirty there. You will see nearly starving people and people taking a dump on the side of the road.

From Jaipur, I went to Agra (Taj mahal etc etc) All very beautiful and the highly detailed wood and stonework (tiny tiles etc) in the temples are amazing.

From there I went to Varanasi. Despite being terribly sick it was still interesting. The Ganges (Holy river) has some amazing temples and it's a spectacle to see. Downside: You'll seen burnings of the death with an occasional arm or leg falling of the fire. You'll see fly covered human corpses of the people who can't afford a funeral floating in the river. As said before, people bath right next to them.

From there I went to Nepal and later returned to New Delphi to fly back to Holland.
It was a guided group tour and despite being horribly sick ( shitting all day up to 20 times, losing 12 kilos of weight) I still liked it there because it was my first time backpacking and out of Europe.

Now that I've seen the rest of the world, I can safely say that I will never return there.

So you're saying that a girl who's in the top 1% of girls in India is the equivalent of the average girl in Mexico? Are you for real? Now, I'm getting very curious about Mexico...

I wouldn't mind going there at least once and to get the stamp on my passport for the touristy and spiritual aspects of India.

Quick question: would it be safe to bring with me a chick, either an EE or a SEA girl to make the trip to India more enjoyable? Or would you say it's out of the question in light of the recent wave of tourist girls being gang rapped by the Indian guys?

@vancier, hype alert that's not an average looking girl.

That girl is attainable after searching for a girl aggressively (minus a point).

As always you need time + money + game to pull down a girl like that.

Don't go to India to meet Indian women to bang. This much should be obvious to anyone. There are high end areas, for example UB CIty in Bangalore, which has Western prices, where you can meet them. However Bangalore has an 11 pm shut off for the fun. Attractive women are there but they will generally not be walking on the streets like in EE/SEA; you can only get to know them through social circle really. The culture is still also very conservative. Just not worth it if you're there for a short time.

As for visiting, yes, despite it being a literal shit hole in many places, it is an amazing place. I have many reasons to hate this country, but I do not. The rapes take place in the more conservative north, in places like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and by people who either did very stupid things or were poor.

The South is much more liberal and cosmopolitan. I have seen most of Rajasthan (Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur (great palce), Bikaner, Jaisalmer, etc.). If you have the money, just hire a driver and drive by car to all the places. You will not experience the joys of public buses in India, but that is something I could do without. Take the train once; it's not too bad.

In the south I have been to Kerala and Karnataka as well as parts of Andhra Pradesh. I would actually skip Bangalore as there is not much to do. If you bring a girl along, definitely take her to Kerala and rent a boat. You will cruise on the inland waters while a cook prepares your meals for you. It's really chill, and Keralite food is great.

I think Neil is right that everyone usually gets sick. Mind you, I was there for a week last summer and did not get sick once (but I stayed at a top hotel and ate at peoples homes). For those based in Bangkok, I believe most of South India is about 4-5 hour plane trip, but you do need a visa.

no, average girl in Mexico now is fat (sadly), like USA. however, in some places of Mexico (Jalisco, Sinaloa, Nuevo Leon), I wouldn't struggle at all to find girls that look like the girl I posted from that bollywood picture (whenever I visit Guadalajara Mexico, I am always mindblown for the amount of talent there). there are lots of good looking women in Mexico, just in certain places (avoid Mexico City and southern mexico if you want to get with good looking women). but I can care less, as I am not interested in Mexican women (I want something different).

VP you would be fine.

while recent episodes, some with guys present are scary, bear in mind india is 20% of the worlds' population. It's not a realistic concern for a traveller going with a girl.

Quick answer: Yes, it will probably be a lot more enjoyable if you came with a chick. And the whole gang rape thing isn't really something that you should focus on as long as you have some sense.

I have posted this on an another older thread about India. India really isn't the place you want to visit if your main goal is girls.

There are around 1.5+ billion people in India, and assuming 1/3 female population (not sure what the exact current numbers are) that is approximately 500 million women. At such large numbers, percentages are always going to be low, especially coupled with the fact the much of the country is embroiled in poverty, an enormous middle class population and less than perfect weather and living conditions.

India is one of those place where "normal" has a very different meaning, everything is chaotic and therein lies order and the country runs that way.

If you are planning on visiting, here is a quick list of things to keep in mind:

- Don't come here expecting to score notches, this is not SEA, EE or any other destination famed for its quality of girls or ease of scoring with girls.

- Expect to spend $$ if you want any semblance of a good living standard. Average in developed/advanced countries is not the same in India. Anything half-way average or above average here will cost, sometimes even more than it would cost you in first world countries.

- India is a closed door culture. Everything that happens elsewhere in the world happens here as well, including hooking up with girls, having a ball, partying etc. The only difference, it is all hush-hush and one has to be in the know to have such things become accessible.

- Come with minimal expectations, you will be surprised how much they are exceeded. Don't come with a predetermined notion of how things are going to be, I can assure you you will not have a good time then.

You want India at its finest, come stay in a few cities for a few days each. Hit up the important spots which offer cultural and tourist value, as well as a couple of the big metros.

Stay at The Leela while in Goa, hire a car and a driver through the hotel and go party up in North Goa. Go to Jaipur and Udaipur to visit the palaces, stay at the Udai Villas or the Taj there. Go to Mumbai, stay at the Taj or Four Seasons. The concierges there should make things happen for you. Go up north along the Ganges towards the Himalayas. These are some of the most pristine places you will ever see, the natural beauty is sensational. Go down to Kerala and hire a nice boat and take a trip along the backwaters. Go to some of the big temples in Tamil Nadu just for the experience.

All the better if you have connections here who are very high middle class, or flat out upper class rich folks. Do things like the above, India will seem very different. Yes, you will be spending a lot of money. And obviously that is not something everyone can afford or is comfortable with, but that is just how it works in India. Money is king!

Alternatively you can have an average experience, staying in cheaper yet decent places. But no doors are going to be opened and no red carpet rolled out. You can still have a good time, but much of the onus will be on you to make it happen and this is where things will start falling apart.

Or you could try the budget/backpacker route and then it is just a roll of dice. Some get it good, while others get the tough end of the stick. Chalk it up to experience, and vow never to set foot in India again.

At the end of the day, it is up to you how India turns out.

Game is not about sex. Sex is a by-product, albeit an excellent one, it is the thrill of the hunt!!

of course one is not going to smash a good looking cat like that easily, especially in Mexico (due to culture). what I am saying is that one can easily find a girl with those looks in certain places of Mexico and from there on, it's all up to you if you can fuck her. anyway, one wouldn't have to be too aggressive unless we're talking about a girl with the looks of that blonde girl we posted, since girls with those northern euro looks are very rare in Mexico.

Besides the ease of hooking up ratio, how does India compare to other 3rd world shitholes in terms of quality of life?

Yes, it's hot, crowded and you'll probably get food poisoning. But that describes a lot of places. How is India different?

I'm most familiar with the Middle East and everything I hear about India could also be said about certain Middle Eastern countries (excepting obviously Westernized ones like Turkey, Lebanon and Israel). Any one who's been to both the Middle East and India want to chime in on the differences between the two?

Haven't been to the Middle East. But compared to SEA, India is on another level. Downwards. I'm comfortable with ramshackle streets, garbage and touts, etc., but India adds to that even more crowding, people taking dumps everywhere, and crowds of aggressive beggars, some of them kids with their arms chopped off by their gang leader so they will be more profitable.

It's not all that bad. But it is worse than middle-of-the-road third world countries.
