In short, I closed a big client, had too much too drink, and booked a 1 month excursion to Asia on a whim.
Originally, I'd booked 2 weeks in Vietnam (WTF?) and was able to get that changed, but had client meetings to hit, so the below is as it stands.
I've got Taiwan and Korea covered, but for the 5 day stint in Japan, 2 days in Shanghai, and near two weeks in Bangkok, I'd love to get some input on what to see, hit, where to go, etc.
Given the ridiculous nature of the itinerary, gaming is not a major concern in Japan or Shanghai, but I'm definitely looking to go out at least once in both places.
Is my best option to rent an apt. in BKK and just post up there? What's the best option for apt rentals 1 week at a time? I basically need internet, a clean room/shower, and to ensure no one jacks my computer(s), as I'll be working remotely.
Trip itinerary is as follows:
Arrive Tokyo Aug 15
Depart Tokyo Aug 20
Arrive Taipei Aug 20
Depart Taipei Aug 28
Arrive Shanghai Aug 28
Depart Shanghai Aug 30
Arrive Bangkok Aug 30
Depart Bangkok Sept 12
Arrive Seoul Sept 13
Depart Seoul Sept 19 to home
Any and all input is much appreciated.
Why not just pick one place. . .and spend your month there?
You're definitely not going to have enough time to enjoy a place like Tokyo in only 5days. . .which is probably just 3.5 days if you count getting in the hotel, figuring out the train system etc. . .etc. . .
I'm not even sure you'll be able to pipeline Tokyo/seoul
That being said. . .
for Japan for pipelining you can try making a profile on JapanCupid.com . . .wish you luck there as unless the girl is going to just bang the same night you meet her at your hotel, 5 days is not going to get you laid there. . .unless you spent those five days doing day/night game but you're probably going to want to see shit. . .
Anyway, if you want to visit some cool places in Tokyo check out:
The Mori Building in Roppongi (just go to Roppongi station and ask. . .its a huge ass building that says mori on it you cant miss it) Take the elevator the 60th floor of the building for an awesome view/jazz restaurant.
You could go to the Tokyo sky tree, that was just finished but it's really out of the way to be honest and its kinda. . .well I never liked it when I went.
Club Womb is pretty nice, bunch of dudes though. . .only go for the music.

Club Camelot is a real cool club, one of my favorites even if I didn't go to it a lot. . .you may get laid from there, I've pulled from there a lot. Just go to Shibuya station on a fri night, and just ask someone around there. it's a popular place so its easy to get directions

Since you're going in August. You'll want to go to Enoshima beach, and check out the beach houses, make sure you go to the beach houses that are on the OTHER side of the main road, behind a large restaurant and visiting center. Many Many Many hotties there in August. One of my favorite places to go. . .make sure though, that you don't cause any trouble, a lot of lower level gangsters live, work, and go out there, you'll see them as they have the tatoos. Usually, if you're cool, they're cool as they try to stay away from foreigners and trouble... but if you fuck up. . .
. . .just don't. You can walk to Enoshima island to. . .I've only been there once as I really didn't need to go there again after seeing it. . .watch out for the crows/raven. . .they like to attack people. . . yeah its a bit weird.
Enoshima beach:

to get there, take the Odakyu line at Shijuku station to fujisawa station then transfer to Katase-Enoshima (be sure to ask the station attendants at the station and have them tell you what train to get on as you can get on the wrong train if you're not careful. . .then you're screwed)
doing all that in five . . .3.5 days is more than enough. I'm not sure you'll be able to do anything more than that. . .
oh...Don't go to the imperial palace. It's dumb, and you can't see shit (the houses/buildings are all blocked by trees wtf) total waste of time, since it's actually far away from the stuff you want to go to anyway
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stuff you probably won't get to. . .its not as great as the other stuff I listed:
a lot of people say "go to harajuku" go to yoyogi park"
Don't. Its extremely crowded, its going to be hot as FUCK out there in August, and that area is pretty much just a huge outdoor mall/wanna be rodeo drive. . .total chick candy. yeah you "could" do day game. . .but in the middle of August with 95 degree heat and 90% humidity. . .
nope, pussy is not worth that much pain to get.
Don't go to Shibuya in the day time, it will kill you in the middle of August. Go at night.
really I wouldn't do day game at all (unless you're at that beach/club camelot)
Don't go to Gas Panic in Roppongi, Total tourist trap, and pretty much the worst club ever. You could go to club Atom but. . .you'll need to know fluent Japanese to game the girls there... that''s pretty much a 3rd tier club. Gas Panic is the lowest of the low. . .trust me, I've had to work there during a time when I was down and out.
Club Ageha. . .well It is the LARGEST(in size) club but for one its impossible to pull there as its FAR from civilization(they have free shuttle busses though that pick you up in Shibuya) also the days are hit and miss, usually miss, as in most weekends its kinda empty for a venue of that size, only go if there is an international super famous DJ spinnin there. . .that place is really for the experience of those big shows (much like womb) not really for pulling
http://www.ageha.com/
DO NOT go there on bikini night. .. 99% dudes 1% paid bikini girls. . .
it would be cheaper to do p4p and get a blow job somewhere and you won''t have to go all the way out there.
if you were staying there for more than 3.5 days (more like 2 months) I could give you some awesome advice. Next time, think about spending longer periods of time in a foreign land. At least two months in one place.
