South Lake Tahoe Mini Sheet

I recently cruised up to South Lake Tahoe for a week to visit family (who were on vacation) and a buddy of mine who lives up there (business genius. Mormon, doesn't drink, but leverages the Mormonism smash women. Odd...I know).

Before I left, I checked to see if we had on dope spots, only to be disappointed. While this was primarily a trip to hang out with the fam, I did get laid and wanted to report on my findings, even though they're not fully comprehensive.

Realize

A strong majority of the people staying in Tahoe are there with family or their significant others. I met two single women who were both there with two other couples, but those are outliers in and around the Tahoe Keys area. Getting laid in South Lake Tahoe can be easy, but entirely circumstantial on both sides.

Lodging

Fam rented a house in Tahoe Keys, which I believe is the largest development in South Lake Tahoe. The house was 5700/week, had a large private dock, and was very well equipped. I'm under the impression that most of the large houses have a week minimum stay requirement, so for a small crew, condos are the way to go and there are a fair amount available to rent, but most appeared to lack private docks. That said, if you find the right house and have friends who can spend 150-250 per night, house in Tahoe Keys is the way to go.

Boat Necessity

I haven't been to Tahoe during winter since I was a little guy. If you're coming during summer, a boat is a must, although you can probably do well if you have a few wave runners. Boat rentals are rife, as are wave runners, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, etc. You're wasting your time without watercraft.

Lake Conditions

I spent 14 years growing up in Seattle, spending many weekends on my parents' boat in the Pacific Ocean. If you don't have experience handling a smaller boat in choppy conditions, it's worth shelling out the money for a larger boat. Tahoe gets somewhat choppy regularly and when the wind is in full force, novices taking large waves @ parallel flip their boats. Don't be that guy. Smaller boats are okay, but avoid heading toward the center of the lake if it's rough. I saw two people flip their boats over the 6 days I was there and I was mostly busy doing other shit.

Gaming & Nightlife

From my experience, you're looking at day game and casino game, but there may be bars I missed with opportunities.

Since hanging with my grandparents was the main priority, I didn't hit any bars in the immediate area.

Here's what worked & looked very positive for me (had I not been with family):

Keys Cafe (2279 Lake Tahoe Blvd South Lake Tahoe)

Obviously right next to Tahoe Keys development. Solid number of women rolled in there after that appeared to be running. Most in Yoga pants. Better coffee, atmosphere, wifi & cell service than Starbucks (we're at 6.2K feet, even Verizon is lackluster up there), also less crowded during peak hours. I was working there most of the time, but I did chat up a lovely brunette in yoga pants for about an hour. She said she was leaving via Reno Airport that day--which I believed--so I made no attempt past the conversation. If you have to work, this is the place to go and 1/10 patrons or so will be a possibility.

Starbucks (1064 Emerald Bay Rd South Lake Tahoe)

Busy, but I wasn't impressed. You'll see a lot of good looking women, but there's a strong number of deceptively attractive girls who will roll in, only to meet up with their dad/entire family 5-10 minutes later. Small store and if you're trying to line something up, everyone will hear you. For me, I think it's a plus and is a solid display of confidence, but it's worth knowing that everyone inside that location will eavesdrop on anything above a whisper.

This place also has a fucking fireplace facing outward to the patio and based on availability, I had to sit at the most adjacent table, twice.

Cruise in for a drink, but it's not the best use of time.

Raley's (1040 Emerald Bay Rd., South Lake Tahoe)

Very close to Starbucks (same strip mall/complex), this is the main grocery store for this area. Most women are with their boyfriends/husbands or family. IF you can find a single female shopping solo, it's a great place to game. Since it's Tahoe, the prices for everything are somewhat high--comparatively--and that's an easy opener. Open with a laugh, not a "can you believe this fucking price?" Negative is not your friend, ever.

Snagged one number from here over 3 trips. She was down, but the family c-block is omnipresent. I probably could've closed the deal if I had text messaged periodically and warmed it up, but when I was ready to roll out, she was deep in family business.

In retrospect, I wish I would've taken the time to text her periodically. Probably could've convinced her to bust out of her spot and banged her on a kayak. I regret not being proactive about the situation.

Casinos

There are two main Casinos: Harvey's and Harrah's.

Don't worry about anything else.

Harvey's (18 U.S. 50 Stateline, NV, NV 89449)

For the most part, Harvey's is total shit. The only good thing about that place is the comedy shows they have. I saw John Caponera there (hilarious live), but the rest of the casino is garbage and full of trash. If you've got a prospect and the headliner is good, it's worth going to (the Improv). Spend a bit of extra money and avoid the general admission seat. I saw an older gent (with a ring) swooping hard on an impressive, young fox (no ring) in a booth. Thought of RVF when I saw it.

Either way, if the headliner is good and you've got a date, go for it. Skip everything else. Mostly cheap trash in this place, but there are sluts here and there if you like your entrees sloppy. Also, the drinks inside the Improv are total shit. Gin & Tonic is $7 and has 1/4 oz. gin or less. For real. I have been to many places with a short pour, but this takes the cake. Beer is your best option if you want to order a drink here.

Harrah's (15 U.S. 50 Stateline, NV 89449)

If you can pull in Vegas, you can probably pull here. While I was there right after 4th weekend, this place is decent on most weekdays. Friday's is the best restaurant in the casino. Order the prime rib, avoid any fish (unless you like it really dry). It's decent (coming from a Texan) and a great meal. Oysters Rockefeller is so so. Not a bad app, but not great by normal standards.

The Pull

I'm not a big gambler, but I ALWAYS double my money on the digital Star Wars or Star Trek machines. No idea why or how, but they always work for me. None in Harrah's or Harvey's. Doubled my money on a "The Hangover" machine, played a few hands of black jack. By then, most of my family was deep in poker games, so I cruised around to assess possibilities. Again, mostly families and couples, but I happened to spot a fine 23 year old fox on a machine called "Shaman Riches" (or something like riches).

She was smoking. I had American Spirits in my pocket. Sat down, tripled down on a bet, barely broke even, and then broke into conversation. She was with her family (over 15 people!) doing "lake stuff." We gambled a bit more, then I moved her to another machine with me. 1 machine, seated two. Amped up the physical element and the fact that we were both gambling on the same machine/chair and losing money made it that much easier.

Never asked her nationality, but I think she was ethnically Filipino.

Cashed out a whopping $20.45 ticket, then I suggested a drink. Half of the bars within the casino are closed during weekdays, but the separation between open bars (and the legit tables in between) easily allowed me to escalate what was going on.

Got drinks. At the bar, I was starting to see that she was more tipsy that I was and out of FUCKING NOWHERE, she was like:

"Hey....My parents bought this bottle of Champagne. We should go drink it before they get back. We have 80 minutes, tops."

Drink. Kiss. Bang. Done.

Went back down down to the casino, met up with Grandpa, had a whiskey, went home.

Obviously being with 3 of your family's clans is going to be a c-block.

Had I been with 1+ friend(s), here's where I would've ventured:

Just before Harrah's & Harvey's, there's this strip mall/set of stores. A LOT of people go there and I'm confident it's the best opp for day gaming. My experience there was a quick view-through, but there were at least 5+ pairs of what appeared to be 20 y/o+ friends who were probably with family and doing their own thing. Since it's right next to the casinos, you're a leg up if they're staying there, but if you can swoop from there, Tahoe Keys is where it's at. And if you're staying in a dope house in Tahoe Keys, paying for a driver (taxi or otherwise) to and from your spot shouldn't be a problem.

Another GREAT spot to day game are the "souvenir" shops. Nearly every single one has "hand carved statues" that have a "Made in China" sticker on them. In South Lake Tahoe, this is where you'll see a lot of foreigners and if you need help with an opener in that situation, you should probably reread Roosh's books.

Since I just got back last night and have an assload of client work to handle, I'll try to post some details again in the next few days.

If you have details and/or refinements for this spot, please contribute. We should not be lacking a general overview for this place. It's no pussy paradise, but there is a lot of talent in Tahoe and the secret bang can easily happen if you work it correctly.

1. Drive to Reno
2. Gamble near nothing
3. Get free drinks
4. Bang meth hookers on their off nights

Maybe that helps.

I found the most local people at this beach area:

If you like to go to the gym, try this out. It's well equipped and as I was there a couple of times I could spot several hot older women. I guess most are from the keys.

You can try out Fallen Leaf Lake. Besides his beautiful scenery you could possibly spot some lizards here.

This little area has a cafe, a laundromat, etc. I visited the laundromat twice and had multiple options to approach local (single) women.

Tourists will mostly be spotted here. They are usually with family and/or friends whatever. But you can try to game a cute shop assistant there if you like.

And of course as the OP already mentioned. This area includes a Subway, McD, Starbucks and Raleys. In the early evening lizards hang out there with there fancy MacBook or pick up a Latte after their workout. I would say this is the best place to chat up attractive women during the day. Raleys was also good or maybe I was just lucky.

I will be in Reno, NV next weekend (Oct 14-16) and am looking for wings to hit the bars and clubs.

I'm planning on hitting up Edge Nightclub (in the Peppermill Hotel) and LEX nightclub (in the Grand Sierra Resort) but am flexible.

PM if you are around.
