How did that make it to the air is the question. Also, why did they lie and said it came from the NTSB which is something they don't release. Despite the tragedy behind I did find it a bit funny.

I, too, found it funny despite the tragedy, but the inconsistency of the American attitude with regard to putative racism directed toward different groups is... interesting.

I could only imagine the outrage if a plane from an airline called Africana or something went down, people died, and a newstation "accidentally" busted out some stereotypical black names that punned off the incident.
