Look, there are plenty of (patriarchal too) cultures where men pay a price for the bride. The feminists say that it degrades women and treats them like cattle, just like they say brides' families giving dowries degrades women and treats them like less valuable and needing to come with a bonus.

If he paid $3m for her, why does he have to dress up in that outfit and hold his hands like he's some sort of eastern spiritual guru or some shit? Western civiilzation may reaping what it sowed, but I hate it when western men abandon adopt the culture of others, its a shit test, and he failed.

No man that's how they dress for weddings over there, palms together is how they do formal greetings, or pose for wedding pictures in this case. The real shit test he failed was the bride price/dowry - I've got two white uncles and they didn't pay jack shit to my grandma.
@podznyshev - It's true that its actually a bride price but everyone over there calls it a dowry.
