What do you do outside of the game? What's your life like?

What's your life like?

a random list of questions in case "what's your life like" is too vague:

What sorts of activities do you like partake in?
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do for fun?
What do you do for a living?
What awesome/adventurous/fun about your life?
Are you successful/fulfilled with where your life is at?

I'm curious what sort of lifestyle most members have here. It seems there are a lot of entrepreneurs and traveling businessmen on here with interesting lives so this should be interesting.

What do you do outside of the game? What's your life like?

I'm starting to get into online marketing. I was always a heavy gamer (I still like to play LoL occasionally, but I try not to anymore).

I play lacrosse and ice hockey. I'm thinking of getting into MMA once I get to Canada in August.

Right now my parents/grandparents pay for everything, but I'd like to change that before I leave university. Hopefully I can find success with internet marketing and product creation.

Although I'm only 19 I feel a lot older for some reason as if though life is going in slow motion. 9 years ago I was 10 and I can't believe how much life has changed.

It's strange because people usually say life goes by very fast.

I usually read for 20 - 60 minutes a day before bed and then take 10 - 20 minutes to reflect on things that are happening in my life. I get a lot of enjoyment from this...I'm able to retrieve memories from my past that I usually don't think about it.

I'm content with my life right now, but I want to change certain things in this world that are affecting people, but realistically...I probably won't be able to do a damn thing about it.

Intellectual: School, learning Spanish, and studying poker
Physical: Try to stay natural with foods and products and workout regularly
Artistic: I practice brazilian jiu jitsu, but I would like to get more into some other type of artistic expression
Spiritual: I sort of meditate sometimes. I need to work on this one, maybe I will start volunteering at the community garden. Is that spiritual?
Work: I am a delivery driver 10 hours a week, play poker, and other minor miscellaneous streams.

This sounds like I'm actually doing positive stuff, but I also spend a lot of time wacking off and otherwise abusing myself with alcohol and drugs.

Artistic: go to theatre plays, attend occasional dance class, watch cheap arthouse movies at cinema
Spiritual: i practice daily positivity, i am an existentialist so i believe the only meaning in life is that which i create for myself prior to death
Work: hospitality at the moment, possible graduate career in the works with international company, pending outcome of upcoming interview, if successful very good career ahead of me

I'm an old fucker so I spend most of my free time with my wife and two sons.

Now I'm at the start of preparing to walk the length of Thailand so between walking and organizing it takes me a half a day, every day. '

Watch documentaries movies with the wife and kids, go to the movies, out to dinner, play basketball, travel, stretch...

What do you do outside of the game? What's your life like?

i have my own business and have for over a decade and in the last 6 years i have taken on many hobbies of various types to help me gain some work life balance ( and keep me sane) although all of my hobbies always gravitate towards the high end of whatever it is, which is just how i am i guess.

i also read a stupid amount, and can be considered an information junkie.

What sorts of activities do you like partake in?
- Currently I work part-time, go out 1-2 nights a week, hang out with long time friends (not into game), do some fitness work, read/play videogames/learn from the web

What are your hobbies, what do you like to do for fun?
- Sports (typically footy) and weight training, video games and film, meet people and socialize. Looking to add to this part.

What do you do for a living?
- Currently an undergrad student, and its summer time so I work anywhere from 30-40 hours a week

What awesome/adventurous/fun about your life?
- I have a very crazy personality with tons of mood changes (although I have been taming that recently). For that reason I know I am very fun to be around when one on one with girls, and I don't need to do anything special to impress them, for my company is already fun for them. I am self amusing and always have been, but it took me some time to fully accept that side of me.

Are you successful/fulfilled with where your life is at?
- Yes and no. I am proud for the program I study as it was very difficult to get into, but at the same time I have no idea/no goal for what to do next (when I am done in 2 years). I tend to be lazy and let opportunities come to me instead of chasing them, but when they appear and if it is what I want, I have a drive that will make it almost impossible for me not to achieve it.

This is a habit I should develop, reading every day and reflection. I do like to reflect whenever I get some idle time during the day, but setting aside some time for it is key.

Right now my life is centered my career, as I am in the process of launching my own investment fund and I am also an assistant manager at a restaurant that is in the process on opening a second location.. So all my time is devoted to that, which does not leave me much time for hobbies at the moment. But i love to play hockey and rugby when I have the chance. I still read for 30 minutes every night from fiance books to evolutionary psychology books as that area fascinates me.

I screw around in crappy community college, play video games, occasionally do hauling & construction work to cover the bills. My life is boring and I'm a terrible student. Bright enough to succeed but unmotivated. Spend most of my free time on the internet or at the gym, outside of game which is increasingly becoming integrated with my daily life.
