What is the best source for international travel communications?
Some of us buy pre-paid SIMs/cellphones for use in the country of residence. Many of us use Skype. Some of us use an unlocked phone abroad and another for US domestic coms.
A new source has come to my attention which eliminates the need to buy SIMs or dual phones - if you like their pricing enough - Simple Mobile.
Simple Mobile offers a $13 SIM to use with an unlocked phone or tablet device. The several plans for US are more or less $40/month.

(These include 250MB data per month.)
Attractive for travelers to the US, they offer a two week SIM plan for only $25.
Simple Mobile uses T-Mobile network in the US.
There are two international plans. First, you can have unlimited provided you use 10 or fewer numbers for $10/month. (An additional $10/month for 11 or more numbers, up to 20 I think.)
The second charges on a reasonable per minute basis. Check it out here:

How does SIMPLE Mobile ILD work?
1. Purchase a $10 Simple Mobile International long distance PIN.
2. Choose one of our regional access numbers and save it as a speed dial to your phone.
3. Every time you place an International call, just dial the access number. You will hear a welcome greeting and your account balance. Then, enter the number you are calling - starting with 011, the country code and then the phone number. It's that Simple!"

The unlimited US/international plan to 52 countries is only $60/month!
While many other discounters offer international service, how many offer this dual convenience at such a low price? With my new unlocked Samsung Galaxy cell phone, tell me how I'm wrong to go with Simple Mobile?

Please share your competitive picks - YMMV, indeed!
