I don't have an epic post to make, but at Trader Joes in Beverly Hills and WOW. Scores of cute girls.
Going to have to start back on daygame...
Anyone have a pickup story from a Trader Joe's or a similar type grocery store?
If this is a dupe post, then my bad.

I met a sexy nicaraguan girl last year at trader joes. It's always got hot yuppie pussy at the one near me in Sherman Oaks. Didn't know there was one in Bev Hills. Thanks for the tip!

I hit up a Trader Joes near a university all the time. It's in my weekend rotation of places to game, and I pick up ACV when I need to.

I've done quite a few grocery store approaches, usually Trader Joe's or Whole Foods; I've only gotten numbers that went nowhere.
The one benefit I will say of grocery store approaches is it gets you in the zone earlier in the day. Get those first approaches out of the way and you're vibing for the rest of the day.

God I love grocery store game. When I first started gaming at grocery stores a couple years ago I got 2 bangs here in Miami. One was a 30 y/o single mom and the other was a 21 y/o girl from Spain living for free at her parents condo.
This may have been "grocery game beginners luck" because now I go gaming at Publix 2-3 times per week, even pregame before doing my grocery shopping/gaming and am shooting blanks.

I've never done pickup at a grocery, but from shopping around LA and based on vibes I get:
Whole Foods in Venice is also a gold mine of young, fit, kind of earthy yet hot girls...all the Abbott Kinney Blvd types, better than others I frequent (Santa Monica on 23rd, El Segundo, Brentwood). The vibe is more laid back and the girls seem more approachable. Brentwood on San Vicente is a decent lunch spot and free easy parking which is rare there...there's a decent after yoga class crowd there picking up some sandwhiches or the salad bar and there are outdoor tables.
West LA has a Ralphs and a Trader Joes on Olympic. Both are swimming with younger white girls that live in the area. Trader Joes especially good. Trader Joes in Culver City near downtown Culver City has been decent when I've gone.
Bristol Farms on Westwood. Mid afternoon there are a lot of cougars/milfs just getting out of yoga classes from the Sports Club LA.
I've found that Vicente Foods and Gelson's in Century City are generally older jewish grandmas, at least whenever I go there.

I was at the market, I saw a gorgeous little Beyonce type, mixed black/white, maybe 18/19. She was struggling to tear off one of those plastic bags that you put fruit into...
me: how do you work those stupid things
her: i don't know
me: let me try
I tore off one of the bags
her: thank, i guess im not very athletic
me: i guess not
her: hehe
me: are you making a salad?
her: no just getting mushrooms
me: im surprised your not watching the basketball game
her: who's playing? wait, don't tell me..
me: ok
her: umm, oklahoma city?
me: yup, you got it
her: are you a thunder fan?
me: no, im a spurs fan, we are enemies
her: hehe, i actually like the spurs too.
me: do you play ball?
her: no i run track
me: where in college?
her: no, in high school
me: high school! how old are you?
her: 17
me: 17, damn girl you're gonna get me in trouble
her: haha i'll be 18 in november
me: alright well, i'll holler at you after thanksgiving
her: haha ok bye
I walk away. I can't be talking to girls under 18.

Also,
Use your shopping cart as a "bumper car". Push it into hers and pretend that it was her fault. When they hear the crash of 2 shopping carts crash into each other, they always panic and say -- "oh my gosh, excuse me".
Then, you can say -- "did you that on purpose?" "

Hahaha. I just had a mirror conversation, except this girl just turned 18. I was asked her "WOAH! 18? You look more mature than that."
Still felt like a cradle-robber. (even though I am in my mid 20s)

I also use grocery stores a lot..
My usual opener...if I see a girl looking at a label..
"hey you know if you have to look at the label..you know it HAS to be bad for you"
If I see her looking through different items..
"Just take one of everything...why make life so difficult?"
And my usual..
"It's a well known scientific fact that there are no calories when eaten on a Wednesday" (or insert day of the week)..even better if it's a holiday, even a minor one, then substitute with that holiday. e.g. "It's a proven fact that cupcakes have 0 calories during Christmas time".
Should get a smile and a guaranteed ice-breaker. Or she's a bitch and you saved time.
