I dunno... I'm glad he is back, but I find myself yearning for the older format from a few years ago. It's sounding more and more like a retard fest with this Suliman character. If it isn't that the show turns into Latino hour very quickly (we get it, Tom you are not a racist).

If it keeping going like this I will no longer be listening in...

I also have mixed feelings about his new format. He seems like a try-hard. I guess that's not surprising; it must be tough to make a go of it without big-name advertisers. But retard-fest is an understatement. It seems like Leykis is appealing to the 14 yr-old set. His treatment of the Boston bombing - posting pics on Facebook of people with limbs blown off, mocking Boston, etc - was an absolute disgrace. And I don't offend easily! I think his show must really be in trouble financially if he needs to stoop to making fun of bombing victims to get attention. I let my premium membership lapse when he did that, and I probably won't renew. Too bad - his old stuff on relationships was priceless.

The Suliman element to the show should be limited to open phones(no more than one a week). Most of his calls are off topic and also making me question why Tom puts him on constantly.

Suliman appears at 2:20

I know he is popular (or was popular), but you have to question the wisdom of a man who preaches what he does yet was married 4 times.

Man - I heard them talking about Suliman on the show the other day. And went to check it out on YouTube. WTF? This Suliman guy is shit.

I miss Tom Leykis on ordinary radio. Since it gave him a big enough audience to pull in some of the best phone calls I have ever heard. Hell - he even had one chick phone in to admit she got away with killing her husband.

Another element was the pissed off women who said they had only heard the show for the first time. That dynamic is missing now since only subscribers phone in - and they are already fans of what Tom says. It used to be funny listening to the chicks get into fights with Tom.

Also - I find it annoying when they play little sound effects during the phone calls. That is so gay.

Still - Tom at his best is gold. Just hope things can work out for him. I suspect the subscription model won't work since Internet only revenue seems to be a failure for just about everyone. Unless it is a loss-leader for some other product/service.

The only other US show I catch regularly is O&A. Although Adam Carolla has had some great stuff in the past as well.

Completely agree with you guys. The few times I've tuned in was his "make me laugh" segment which did not for me. I hope it improves, but it's been over a year now.

I do have a library of his old shows from 2006 until it's conclusion in Fed 2009. By that, I mean EVERY....SINGLE....EPISODE

I get pissed at Leykis' CONSTANT bashing of conservatives and republicans. Again, I think his stuff is very funny, but he is a bit obsessive about the republican bashing, to a point where he sounds like a radio version of Bill Maher. But his isn't a political talk show - its a show aimed at men, particularly young men. So the political stuff is misplaced.

Also, the non-stop east-coast bashing comes off as sour grapes, since Leykis didn't do too well there on the radio (was turned down for syndication in New York, etc). I get that his RADIO audience was all West Coast, because he was on an LA station. But NOW, he's on the internet - he can appeal to New York, or anywhere in the world for that matter. He should be playing up his presence on forums like this (target the Roosh twitter feed, for example) and appeal to his TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC (young men), not simply repeating bitter diatribes from the past. But I get the sense Leykis is a bitter, bitter man who can't get over past slights.

Its really too bad - he is magic when he talks about men, women, and relationships!

I agree with you, guys about that retard Suliman and not having enough haters calling in, but I still listen to the show for luck of better options. A lot of junk there, but also some pearls of wisdom.

I don't like the other two guys (Gary and Dino?).

They get too much air time and filler.
