Going to Bahia in Saint Peter's Party in June 1st

Hey all,

I am going to a short travel to Bahia in the Saint Peter's (São Pedro) party.
For the ones who has no clue what I am talking about, in Brazil we have the Parties from June, celebrating Santo Antonio, São João, (Saint John), São Pedro in the end of the month.
Those parties happen all over the country, but the best ones are in the Northeast, and the most known are in Mossoró (RN - Natal state) and Caruaru (Pernambuco) the biggest one.
For know I'm going BY CAR!!! (ONE DAY TRAVELLING) to a small town in Bahia named Wagner with a friend to visit their relatives, then Vitoria da Conquista (a bigger city) and then home.
I will post the details and the game scene later, when I am back, but for now, I can tell that Portuguese is not only desirable, is highly necessary.

This is an ad, made for the period and it is pretty alike what happens

Deixa que essa fase é passageira, amanhã será melhor você vai ver a cidade inteira seu samba saber de cor!

Small town scene. I had many "men interested" but no approaches.
The girls don't know how to do a decent makeup. When it comes to cloathes, there aren't much possibilities and everyone dress the same outfit. Of course, there isn't mall. Most of them are naturaly beautiful, but they don't know how to enhance that. Sad, but true.
This town is very poor, but people are welcoming and interesting.
I learnt the arrocha and forro, both very sexy and tiring if you dance for long as one hour... hahaha
Here some pictures of the surroundings found online.

Speakeasy,
This music is a traditional stuff used in Quadrilha (a dance presentation) - also represented in the ad that we do in those parties. Any brazilian kid had danced this... LOL and grown ups as well and around BR there are Quadrilha group competitors!
I'm back already, it was a fast trip very nice and amusing, I didn't score because of the lack of options and the fast pass by. Next time, I will go by april - may then I will see a Bull party (There isn't a translation for that exacly) and this place is very famous in the surroundings for.
BTW, I found a bar that I need to take you when you come to SP. I went there last Saturday to drink a Tubaína.

Yes, the it is a 20 hour trip by car. By bus takes 36 hours. We stopped in Vitoria da Conquista after the first 18 hours to take a "nap" and wake up at 4am to keep going. Once I travelled by bus during 6 days. Piece of cake compared to here... LOL.
No, kidding. It was tiring. but the landscape is marvelous and amusing.
