CITY OVERVIEW
i was in berlin for nine days. i rented an apartment in the mitte district via airbnb and mostly hung out there. i did go to kreuzberg a few times with friends. just like people said, mitte felt more stylish and upscale, maybe like soho in nyc, and kreuzberg had that williamsburg brooklyn vibe.
GIRLS
i really liked the girls in berlin. i didn't see stunningly stylish girls like in paris, but then again when i went to paris it was warmer. in berlin it was cold. also, the typical german look was blonde, tall, and pretty in a very "clean" way. not stunningly gorgeous, just not real flaws to her face. i prefer dark haired, sultry girls with big brown eyes -- like colombian girls, venezuelan girls, or spanish girls -- but i have to say, i grew to like the "german look". not incredibly thin, no amazing asses, but just good looking and attractive. also, germans have money, so i felt that i saw a lot of girls with nice skin, pretty faces, pretty teeth, tall, blonde -- really, what's not to like about that? oh yeah, also, can't forget, they speak great english. i went on two okcupid dates and the girls spoke english just as good as me.
SIGHT SEEING
i didn't go to any of the touristy sights. however, two "cool" stylish places to check out that i liked were:
-soho house berlin, which has a great hammam that you can go to if you're not a member. i forgot my bathing suit so couldn't go, but i did check out the place, very stylish.
-c/o photo gallery , very cool gallery in an old building that used to be a post office and then a school. has that decadent berlin vibe. some photos are in this huge gymnasium that still has the basketball nets.
LODGING
i rented an apartment in the mitte district using airbnb. it wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. very central. helped get me laid.
DAY GAME
-the streets of mitte
-also a great cafe was gaststatte st. oberholz. i met a local and he said that it is the coolest cafe in mitte, or in berlin, or something. it is on the edge of mitte and some other area.
NIGHTLIFE
-a great loungey bar close to st. oberholz is mein haus am see. i went there with my iranian girl and got the makeout there.
-i went with an okc date to fire bar, very smokey, but it has that loungey, sexy vibe. no kiss though. my fault.
-i went with a friend to weekend club on NYE, here is where i met and kissed this blonde from the UK.
DINNER SPOTS
-yam yam. i went here first on an okc date, the girl took me, and i struck out. but the next night i took my photo shoot girl to dinner here, and then back to my apartment where i fucked her. hell yeah. here's to the two-step plan, and the importance of being an "expert" in your neighborhood. also, delicious food.
-monsieur vuong. i went here with some new friends i made that i met at st. oberholz. cool place, delicious food, always a line.
EASE OF APPROACHING
for me, it was easy to approach with my camera. it was also easy because pretty much everybody speaks great english.
PRICES
they said berlin was very cheap but i guess i didn't notice that. then again, i remember paris was very expensive, so many if i didn't notice berlin was expensive, that is enough. also, i have a spanish mobile so i didn't have any issues with SIM cards. also they use whatsapp a lot in europe, so that's great to get.
LOGISTICS
berlin has a great subway system, well both subway and elevated train and trollies. i mostly walked around mitte, and with a friend went to kreuzberg with the subway.
OVERALL PROS
i loved berlin! a great blend of a truly safe, clean, well run first world nation combined with a cool, laid back artistic city with an artistic vibe and lots of pretty, interesting girls who were looking for interesting, foreign men because german men are so boring and predictable and obsessed with work.

hmm. if you don't like blondes, maybe that's a big con. most girls have a fair coloring. also most german girls are tall. i am 5'11 and i felt like that was a good height, but barely.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

i am an american who had been to europe before as a teenager with my family, but who really only started experiencing europe for real about 5 years ago. i went first by myself to rome, which i really liked, but i went in august and wasn't a photographer back then, so i didn't get that much out of it. then next year i went to paris and fell in love, and wanted to move there. i went to poland for three days this past summer and was blown away by how feminine and polite the girls were, and then went back to paris in october to be blown away by how stylish and sexy the girls were there.
having said all that, berlin has been my greatest trip so far. i fucked a super sexy 23 year old german blonde, i got two other makeouts, i went on two okc dates, i had a bunch of berlin girls interested in me on okc, i had several girls tell me that they liked my long, dark, straight hair, i had several girls say how german men were so boring -- basically, i felt like a special, exotic, foreign prize in berlin.
my advice is, if you are in any way NOT a tall, blonde, fair skinned IT enginnering man, that is to say, if you are hispanic, or black, or asian, and are interesting, artistic, creative, etc etc, i recommend berlin. my theory is that the german girls who move to berlin are looking for that type of excitement and that type of interesting, artistic lifestyle. apparently the south (munich) is wealthier, and the north (hamburg) is too, and many berliners i talked to said that germans say that the "lazy germans" move to berlin, so if you're a cool, interesting, foreign man, then there is a good chance that a berlin girl is looking to meet someone like you.
also, yeah, i only fucked one girl, but she was in a way the "best" of both a western european, "feminist" girl and an eastern europe "delicate" girl. she was sassy and opinionated, and we talked about men vs women, etc., but she ultimately also knew her place, i.e. she wasn't a bitch. i fucked her with no LMR, which i attribute to her western feminist values, but again, she had this soft, feminine side.
