Have you done it for a long time?
Why didn't you like it?
I've done it many times over the years. I like it. It's a great exercise for learning how to transfer power from your legs, through your core, and out to your arms. You are exploding through your upper body. That's important for people who throw punches. Or, guys that play baseball.
For people who don't throw punches or hit a baseball, they might get a relatively low ROI
I mean, if you wanna lose weight you are better off cleaning up your diet.
If you wanna build stamina, you are better off running sprints.
If you wanna build muscle, you are better off squatting, dead lifting, and pressing heavy weight.
If you wanna build power, you are better off doing clean and jerks, hang cleans, push presses, and stuff like that
It really just depends on your goals.
For me, the best part about it is beating the fuck out of something.
I know you are a boxer so it will help you add power to your punches.
Don't get me wrong, its a good exercise and it has its place in any athletes program.
