Guy makes some interesting points but from watching the video I can see why he had troubles online dating. [Image: tard.gif]

Seriously though 6 hours for one coffee may be the average but really it's how you go about online gaming, it's a different skill set in some regards than live approach.

I haven't checked out your link so far, but I think it all depends on who you are, what you look like, and where you're at. My homie in San Francisco, is a pretty good looking guy (as gay as it is for me to say, most women would probably rate him in the 7-8.5 range, I'm assuming), and he's a musician, he claims that for a few months 2-3 girls would hit him up a week on okcupid.com, without him doing any searching/messaging. Now he may be exaggerating a tiny bit, but he's a real natural with the ladies, and not one to really make shit up. He was saying that these girls were mostly in the 6-8 range, but averaging around 7, to me that's fucking bad ass, that 2 cutes girl were hitting HIM up a week, without any effort or work. If you're not attractive or interesting in women, you can't expect great results whether online, in the coffee shop, bar, etc.

Online dating is usually a last resort for most people. I think, with that in mind, it is pretty clear what kind of pool of people you are going to be dealing with... although I will say that I have had success getting lays from OKCupid.

Having experienced online dating sites, and the old fashioned way of meeting girls (out in the public!!!) I will say that I much prefer the old fashioned way. Everything, from the build up to the actual progressing dates, are much more natural, and you don't have that voice in the back of your head giving you guilt for having met her the loser-ish way.

It's just sometimes you're put in a situation where the normal way isn't working out (stuck in a weird area, the people who you encounter in bars/nightclubs just suck... etc.) where Internet Dating just doesn't seem as bad of an idea at that point, and really, sometimes it isn't.
