Truth be told, Latinas in the US are already a bunch of fat bitches with mucho attitude. The only ones that sometimes aren't have planet-sized egos because they're mad scarce or are between the ages of 16 and 18, and therefore illegal for you to holler at in most jurisdictions.

Any number of magazines, both for men and women, have foreign editions.

It's true. My friend chases around his fat Colombian wife calling her "Chiquita"(little one) and "My Princess". I cringe when I'm around them.
She drops this line once in a while, "If you want my nails to be pretty all the time then you'll do the dishes". And he does them.

You're falling into the U.S trap of thinking South America is some homogeneous place. Argentines, Uruguayans and white Brazilians won't pay any notice of magazines like this, as they have no idea what a 'Latino' is. They identify with Europe and see themselves as Europeans to be honest. In fact, as I've discussed in many threads, the 'Latino/Hispanic' thing is strictly North American, a way for the Nixon administration to fit a lot of diverse people into one box. Zoe Saldana would be just as much a minority in Argentina as she would in the U.S. I mean, I came across a thread on a boxing forum asking whether Lionel Messi was "white or hispanic'...
I mean, even
this article somehow assumes Messi will resonate with 'hispanic' America, when he himself will not. I don't know what it is, are white 'WASP' Americans afraid of being associated with Southern Europeans or something? Argentinians, and most
white South Americans DON'T look like Chris Arreola etc

Playboy is actually putting out an Israeli issue, in Hebrew.

Yeah, it's weird and just shows how fucked up race relations are in America. Basically, white anglos in America will never look at a spanish speaking person as a fellow white person. They can have blue eyes, blonde hair and pale skin but he wont be considered white to them because of the spanish last name and language. Americans think all spanish speaking people are tied together (where the hispanic/latino label comes into play) which as you know, is not the case at all for a lot of countries.

"Messi" isn't even a Spanish last name, it's Italian. As that's what he is, an Italian Argentine, like thousands of others. Another one that makes me laugh is Marco Rubio, he looks exactly the same as some buttoned-up white middle-American (which, of course he is) and yet in every article I read they go on about his being this non-white saviour of the Republicans. It's insanity.

Pretty much all of the Argentines that are in the NBA are of Italian ancestry, and played professionally in the Italian league as well as for the Argentine National Team. Manu Ginobili, Fabricio Oberto, Luis Scola, Andres Nocioni, Carlos Delfino and Pablo Prigioni all have Italian surnames. Pepe Sanchez, who played college ball at Temple and played a couple of years in the league is the only Argentine player of note that had a Latin surname.

Technically, Italian surnames are Latin too...in fact, more so!
