How to trash friends and family

In my latest post I was worried about how my friends and family would react to my new 'no alcohol' policy. "How do I avoid cutting them off?", fuck it, how do I become better at it?! If friends and family hinder my process of becoming the man I want to be, they SHOULD be cut off.

I have always been afraid of isolating myself from other people, it is the main reason I became interested in gaming in the first place, to strengthen my social intelligence. So there is a contradiction here, cutting out a social part of your life, to improve your social skill. I'm yet to read "Why can't I use a Smiley Face", but as I understand Roosh takes a stand against this mother and sister, and this is what I'm talking about.

Looking back, I have actually burned a few bridges, friendships that in some way came hurt me, but I should have trashed the friendships long before they could even slow me down. I need to be better at trashing friends that don't contribute to my progress. "Lucky" for me, I don't really have a close relationship with my family, so they are not holding be back. But the few friends I have here and there, I feel that I somehow NEED them, but do I really? How do you avoid making everything into a cost/benefit relationship, or can?

I my perspective an alpha shouldn't be afraid of burning bridges, of course he should be strategic about it, but not reluctant.

Have you trashed friends and/or family? And how did it impact your life?
