I'm planning on being in New Orleans in 2013 for 7-10 days. Anyone going to be around there then, or down to meet up?

The French Quarter is NOT the place to be. For better music and trim try the area known as Faubourg Marigny. There are three music venues there you will want to visit: Snug Harbor, Cafe do Brasil, and The Spotted Kat.
