These pictures are absolutely representative of the local talent. Only caveat is that I guarantee any of the blondes are bleached.

It was hard to find English speaking employees at the high end hotels like Hotel Europa and the Holiday Inn (it's not your usual Holiday Inn).

I would really not go by that because virtually the entire service sector staff is employed not due to merit, but nepotism. So that gives a skewed picture.

Most youngins are able to string together some basic English, and plenty of them speak rather good.

I think it's way better than Ukraine or Russia, but perhaps at par or below of Poland/Czech.

I hadn't thought about that. One problem that I had was because of the cafe culture I didn't get much chance to mingle in cafes/bars/clubs, so that made figuring that out difficult. In retrospect, I may not have had a good sample size.

Bosnian women are beautiful, feminine, well-dressed, and definitely girlfriend material.

It seems small, nevertheless a great city to visit with an awesome people and culture. My uncle called Sarajevo his favorite city, along with Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kiev.

Notice how you don't see sweats, velour, joga pants, tennis shoes, uggs. One thing I loved about Germany is the women dress so sexy. They enjoy looking beautiful and feminine. German girls had better asses but I am loving the talent out there.

The cycle of disrespect can start with just an appetizer.

This one is Mostar though, but it is also in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

I was comparing Europe to America. The only European country I have been to is Germany.

Lol, I even Googled "Mostar bridge" to get that picture and forgot Mostar was another city. Not far from Sarajevo, a good weekend getaway.

I'll leave these two links for anyone who wants to see more of Sarajevo and BiH.

You're overrating Sarajevo. My gut tells me nearly all of the hotties on pictures are high class or have some war profiteer / warlord guy behind them. They aren't attainable if you're planning a flag trip; if you have more money to spend on them than local gangsters, then yes, why not. For a realistic grasp of the talent, some amateur snapshots on the first page could be representative. And you can find some of the pictures in this thread on Google.

Lots of the local talent emigrated during/after the war and was replaced by provincial peoples from hills and small towns.

Thiery Henry's girlfriend (Andrea Rajacic) is supposedly Croat, her parents are wealthy and has a degree in management. She is only cute for me, though (picture without the makeup shows it all).

Girls there are no different from other Balkan girls; they are feminine, well-behaved, and dressed to attract --> But their genuine temperament will be revealed sooner or later, it's just a social mask for the public. Once they catch you for LTR, they'll probably bitch for unimportant things, be impulsive, quick-tempered, quarrelsome, jealous,...but I guess this is the way people show 'love' to each other here [Image: dodgy.gif]

'Average' talent there for me is lowest of all the Balkan capitals (except Tirana); [...]

There is no city where a majority of girls look like the ones in these photos. When people post photos of 8+ girls in Moscow or NY, we don't expect the average girls to look like those, only that women of their caliber be fairly easy to find.

I've actually seen hotter Bosniak girls than these and they were all sweet and humble. If you're coming from the US, it's very liberating to be around these kinds of women.

It's true that they rate low on "ease of flag attainment," but high in "girlfriend material."

And to be fairly honest, no way an average Bosniak girl can compete with Serbian. But that's a personal opinion as I don't find those typical remains of Anatolian/middle eastern facial features attractive.

Then wouldn't that make Athens the "lowest of Balkan capitals?"

Greece, especially in Athens, has one of the highest obesity rates in the world among young people, and while I have seen rare photos of attractive Greek girls/models, I don't think I've ever been impressed by one with my own two eyes, and I see them all the time.

From my experience, Bosniak girls are much more humble about their beauty than Croatian and Serbian girls, and less westernized.

I wouldn't recommend novices visiting Sarajevo for a quick flag trip, but it's a city and women worth checking out.

That seems to be the "tight jeans" capital of Europe.

Those ladies know what they've got going on in the back porch department and are keen to show it off!
Sitting around cafe culture seems good too.

I did not include Athens among 'the Balkans' in this case as I used this term in a trivial way, but overall I agree with your commentary. In your case I would rate Athens as the one with the lowest talent (Greek girls never impressed me; been on holidays on 2 islands, and in Athens, Solun)

In my case, everyone I know here considers 'the Balkans' as Ex-Yugoslavia and Warsaw pact members (RO, BG, AL); due to last ~ 80 years of history and geopolitics. Greece is considered as 'Mediterranean', that is in media and politics; our school curriculums include Greece in South Europe, and all the above mentioned countries in Southeastern Europe aka. 'the Balkans'. Yet officially, we now all belong to one region (political corectness of EU, UN)

If the US girls really are so demolished, all I can say is I am more than happy to live in this part of Europe [Image: amuse.gif] Luckily I have met only a few of them, and never had to deal with them anyway.

I would love to know if this is a typical representation of Sarajevo in the summer!

Some of the outfits are pretty risque for a "muslim" country or any country for that matter.

I have been to Zagreb which was pretty impressive, this almost seems better.
