D.C. This Weekend

I'll be in town for the rest of the weekend. Tonight hitting up U street with another member. If anyone is interested in meeting up let us know, unless you wear big fuzzy hats and paint your nails. [Image: tongue.gif] And if the aforementioned location sucks, mention that too, so we can adjust fire.

That's what's up. U Street should be good tonight actually. You'll have fun. Check out Brixton, St. Ex, and Marvins.

I'd be down were it not for some social circle stuff I'm doing. Got invited earlier this week to a pheromone party. 35 guys, 35 girls. Had to wear the same white shirt three nights in a row and keep it in a ziplock while I'm not wearing it. I have to bring it to the party and chicks "sniff out" the scent they're attracted to and whatever comes after that we shall see. Should be interesting. Never heard of a concept like this before.

I did a lot of research on pheromones. That's an interesting experiment you're doing. I'll check out those places you mentioned.

It sucked. I still hold that Silver Spring has potential, but wasn't there long enough to get a foothold.

Again, what part of Silver Spring was this that you liked? Downtown? Wheaton? White Oak?

The area around McGinty's Pub House. Lots of diversity and people were friendly. But again, I wasn't there enough to make a solid determination.

That's the downtown area. They really built it up about eight years ago. You have a couple of options there like Copper Canyon, but I'm not really a big fan of that area. Ten years ago (and more recently that that, although it was in decline for many years) there was a place a few blocks south of McGinty's called Los Arrieros. Back then, it was, at least for me, the best venue in the area.

@Merenguero- There is an amazing rooftop bar down that was packed with hot women. Probably a 4-1 ratio, and I was approached like 5 times.

Was that the Dash Global Bar...or the Lee Melvin Bar?
