Agree. I also think it's because women, hell, EVERYONE wants to feel *something*. In this age of digitized social media whoring, I get the sense that existence is becoming watered down for a lot of people. I know it is with me. This is not a new trend. If you read some of Nancy Friday's books from the '80s about female fantasies, you may be shocked at the depravity (some of it rather imaginative!). She also published a book of male fantasies and they were tame by comparison.
