I think we all remember Obama saying "you didn't build that":

There is no such thing as personal responsibility to the left. The idea of private property ownership, keeping the fruits of your labor, personal risk and reward are anathema to the left. It is all about the collective. After all, someone out there is not equal. That was all bad enough.

Now they want your children too and not just for 14 years of public school indoctrination. In our post family, feminist culture women abdicate parenting their children to the state in favor of a career. The state is the parent and the collective the family. In this video from MSNBC host Melissa Harris, you don't own your children. That is selfish and not egalitarian.

Lean Forward.

Didn't Hillary propose something like this with the "it takes a village" crap?

In a sense this is true. The problem is that the prototypical village has people that have the same culture. We have a melting pot, huge difference.

You can force people to live together, but you can't force them to like each other...

Lefties make no sense.

Also, lefties have very low birth rates (strong independent women don't need to have kids to validate themselves, after all), so I don't know what "community" this crazy bitch is talking about.

I'm not going to just hate on Democrats, because way too many Republicans are socialists themselves and don't know it.

But yes, the End Game of when Liberalism and Diversity converge and work together is the destruction of the family and society at large. I'm scared to think what kind of country the US will devolve into in 100 years.

She's trying to say that children don't belong to an individual or a family but rather they belong to society hence the need for more education funding.

"It takes a village?" I don't even make eye contact with most of my neighbors. Just like most American urban-dwellers.

Substitute statist for collective, and the state for whole communities in the video and it becomes very clear.

Pure power play to control the next generation.
