Here is the thing.

I want to jump on the bandwagon and say oh jesus they are fighting over a parking spot thats dumb. But all they do is hit each other with their fists and drive away.

That is nothing.

I have had a gun pointed in my face for far more minor offenses/disrespects and to me this is kind of funny that it would be a thread because nothing came of it.

Fair play to them. They had a fair fight, no friend's jumping in, no cheap shots, no weapons. They went toe to toe and then both walked away.

Respect.

It's funny seeing dudes trying to bob and weave when they clearly can't box their way out of a wet paper bag. Anyone with 30 minutes of Brazilian Jujitsu training would destroyed either one of them.

They weren't terrible. They both got a couple solid hits in. I've definitely seen many worse fighters.

It's nice to see men scrapping once in a while. Reminds me of my youth.

Because it's fake. Nobody gets out of a car heated and goes in that soft.

In San Francisco if you fight over a parking space, once you walk away from your parked car you will return to find it keyed (for non-US: A person scratches up the car paint with their keys). Welcome to a $2000 paint job.

No one would bother getting in a scuffle like this. If they don't feel you treated them fair and square, they'll instead just drive around the block, wait for you to leave, then go ninja on your vehicle with every sharp object they've got in their fist to teach you better manners.

Throwing spark plugs at their car windows is also considered fitting revenge on the rude and arrogant. Plus with it now open to homeless bums the car will be stripped clean by the time they get back.

Just doesn't pay to piss people off when your goal is to leave a $40,000 piece of property on the side of the street, accessible to the public.

"Alpha children wear grey. They work much harder than we do, because they're so frightfully clever. I'm awfully glad I'm a Beta, because I don't work so hard. And then we are much better than the Gammas and Deltas. Gammas are stupid. They all wear green, and Delta children wear khaki. Oh no, I don't want to play with Delta children. And Epsilons are still worse. They're too stupid to be able to read or write. Besides they wear black, which is such a beastly color. I'm so glad I'm a Beta."

They wouldn't have been able to do that and get away with it here. First of all, notice how many people were in the damn street watching the fight. Folks were yelling out their windows and I'm sure a few made phone calls to the police. They could easily grab the descriptions of the cars and the license plate numbers. Not so easy in Manhattan. Way too dense and there's people everywhere.

If you knew how hard it was to get a parking spot on the street in NYC, you'd understand why it's worth it to get in a fight for a spot!

Annoying woman yelling "guys stop", but still better than 90% of UFC fights.
