I make a few alterations: sometimes I wear sandals, my shorts are a couple of inches shorter, I'm a tad better-looking (I'm just as smarmy) than this guy and am obviously more jacked.

During the day: Shorts with a t-shirt.
During the evening: Add a sweater.

You're not gonna be running around with a pair of jeans as well.
Here, the days can be hot as fuck and the nights fairly chill.

Depends. The higher class the girl in my experience, the more of a repellant they are. But if the girls you associate with mostly hang around blue collar types, then no big deal. Regardless they shouldn't be too baggy.

If you're under 30 and look visibly like you work out, shorts are fine anywhere in the world if the weather is hot or humid. You just need a stylish, tighter fit than those loose, ugly cargos that most 40-50 year old sex tourists roam around in. Check out the casual outfits of the men in Geordie Shore for style tips. I would honestly rather have blue balls for life than wear pants during the day time in places like South East Asia.

However, I'm 21 y.o. and I most of the girls I pull are from my age group and they seem to dig my vibe. Besides, I'm fit and I love showing off my calves and quads.

I say if you're fit and don't neglect leg work, then go the fuck ahead because I've been complimented many many times on my calves and ass by girls who like fit guys.

Shorts are great for showing off muscular legs, and in certain environments, they're 100% acceptable. Go to Venice Beach in pants and you'll probably end up getting some stares. Most California natives don't care about dressing up in pants, especially when compared to outsiders (such as all the Asian transplants)
