Can you still get cigarettes overseas?

I used to order cigarettes from other countries ($30 per carton)
After I didn't receive the item for 3 times, I gave up and started buying in local ($6 per pack)
When I save $30, govt loses $30, I think they upgraded package monitoring system.
anyone getting it from overseas?

In Germany its €5 a pack. You get different amounts of cigarettes though, depending on the brand. I think Marlboros are 23 cigs a pack.

Cigsspot.com is solid, the cigs are from Moldova, and come out to 4USD a pack or so. Worth it for the selection alone, which is what you would basically get in Ukraine or Romania or Moldova.

For those in Europe who want to buy bulk you can legally move products, including cigarettes, from one jurisdiction to another without hassle. So those in Western Europe, say the UK could go to Latvia and buy £1-2k worth of cigarettes and move them back to the UK. The UK retail value would be in the region of £6-7k. As long as they are for personal use there is no law being broken.
A 20 pack of Marlboro would be about €4.30. The same pack bought in a store in the UK is €12 or more. You can bring back 40 packs with no questions and any more, if you are questioned, you'd have to argue they are personal use. Gifts are included under personal use. So bringing 100-200 packs should cause no real difficulties.
Outside of the EU you can only bring in 200 cigarettes, or 10 packs, getting caught with more you'd either have to pay local taxes or get them confiscated. Most countries limit you to 200.
That might be why your deliveries never arrived. Did you buy more 200 and customs seized them?
