USA with parents and brothers...

My parents want to take me and my brothers to the USA at the end of this summer (last 2/3 weeks of august). As I said, we might go for 3 weeks. What places in the USA do you guys recommend?
My mom wants to see the Grand Canyon and San Francisco/ Yellowstone
Maybe Seattle / Vancouver (I know its canada

).
I'm thinking about NYC (would be my first time in the States i can drink),
Austin in Texas, maybe southern California? I want to check out the girls of course.

Unless you plan on actually going into the Grand Canyon and doing some hiking or rafting I would skip it. It's out of the way of everything and it's really not that great once you get there, at least if you just plan on going and looking down at it, you're just gonna look down and think, "That's a big ass canyon." San Fran and Yellow Stone are both good ideas. NYC is a great city, highly recommended. Southern California is awesome, but you have to think logistics. If you aren't going to have a car, it's going to be a tough place to be if you want to go out. The beaches are worth checking out regardless. Colorado has great scenery and tons to do. If you hit up Southern California, Vegas is a 3-4 hour drive.

Be mindful that California alone is bigger than most European countries.
Unless you go on a commuter Jet, San Francisco and Los Angeles are much more than an hour or two apart.

San Francisco is fun city to visit and there are a lot of things to do in the surrounding areas.
Good public transportation too.
Southern California is terrible on public transportation...as InternationPlayboy mentioned.
I've lived here my whole life. A car is a must if you come here.
Not much to do here except Disneyland, etc. But I guess I'm biased because I've been here way too long.
Places like Venice Beach and Mission Beach in San Diego could be good for checking out chicks if the weather's good.
Actually Florida's beaches seem much more beautiful than California's but I suppose it's more humid there.
Yellowstone is incredible. I've been all over the mountain west and I did not think Yellowstone would impress me but it did.
Yellowstone is far from major airports. SLC is the closest. There are buses that will take you there. A car would be more convenient though.
Ditto what InternationPlayboy said about the Grand Canyon. If you're really into nature though. Northern Arizona/Southern Utah has a lot of beauty. Sedona is close to the Grand Canyon.

NYC, Chicago, Miami South Beach, Seattle/Vancouver, San Fran. - pick a few and stick with those. LA is kinda cool - Griffith Observatory, Hollywood - but not really worth it.
Grand Canyon is dope and you feel like you're on the moon or something but it's a hassle getting out there. It's easier to see as part of a mini-tour of that region (Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, Monument Valley, etc.).
I've done all of this except Chicago.
