There's a comet in the sky for the next couple of nights called Pan-STARRS. I'm gonna use it for a date tonight, it's a good opportunity to look deep vis a vis "really reminds you of how big and empty the universe is and how alone we all are" etc etc.
It's visible starting 30 min after sunset tonight, should be to the left of the moon. Saw it last Friday night around 10PM and it was overcast, but there was stilll this bright red splotch through the clouds that looked like a UFO or something.
Fox News said it was most visible this weekend, so no promises.
Post if you used this and it got you +1'd.

From that space.com site it looks like we'll still have a few weeks to catch it. Nice catch fatless!
If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.

I liked using airplane game in my younger days. My go to move was to take a girl out to LaGuardia Airport on rainy morning(sunrise) and park the car on a road very close to, and right under the path of incoming planes. Girls loved the turn-on of making out in the rain with jet engines roaring 200 feet over her.

Exactly what you said Fatless about the light pollution and overcast.
Still got the +1.
I may just start lying about comets.
