I am in the Air Force, going insane with my lack of freedom. I get out in November and I am planning on moving to Peru to teach english. I will have a bachelor's degree and a TESOL certification prior to departure. In my mind it seems as though a tall white american who speaks spanish while teaching english in universities or wherever will give the girls a godlike impression of me, lending to great results. I am planning on tapping a variety of hotness, what do you guys think of the plan? This is something that I am very passionate about, and I feel detached from reality with these ideas.

The Game is 90% mental.

I would say you are well on your way.

Sounds like a good plan, but keep in mind that in Peru as in most of South America, the pay to teach English will be shitty at best. Sure you could survive but as a local, so make sure you have some cash, (plenty of it btw) to supplement that meagre pay to have some fun. If you're looking for good fun, awesome place and good pay, consider Japan. Other places that pay good with a good lifestyle, are Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and possibly Hong Kong. China pays crappy but I keep on hearing it's a whole lot of fun to live there, plus it's not that expensive.
If you want the best place in Latin America, I'd stick with Brasil (from extensive personal experience) and Colombia from what I keep on hearing/reading about that place.
I realize your question is more about the fun aspect of it, but the $ aspect of it should not be underestimated, unless you have a good stash of cash and you're doing this teaching gig just to keep you busy.
Good luck.

All good points by VP. However, personally I'd recommend picking a place that interests you the most over a place that pays the best. Yes you can make more money teaching in Asia, but if that culture doesn't interest you then don't go. At the end of the day the goal is enjoyment, not racking up thousands of bucks overseas. You're not going to be able to do that anywhere on an ESL teacher's salary.

So if Peru is what gets your juices flowing, go for it. Even if the broads may not be quite as hot on average as in Colombia or Brazil, you can certainly do some damage there. And as many people have mentioned before on this forum, you could make some extra money on the side (and meet more local women) by teaching private lessons as well.

I'm planning to do something similar in Colombia or Dominican Republic, except I'll be taking Spanish classes instead of teaching English. However, I may try doing some one-on-one English lessons in my spare time to slightly mitigate the damage to my savings account.

Although asia does pay much more than latin america, I have a passion for latin america. I'm also well on my way to spanish fluency, thats a goal that I am determined to accomplish. Yes, I am attracted to asian girls, but I love the latin people, language, and culture.

I'm sure you know much about dominican republic, but in case you dont i'd like to give you a heads up. It is an extremely poor country, but things cost about the same as in the states. The people there also aren't your typical latin people.
