Feminazis in Spain - is it really that bad?

El País is the flag bearer of feminism in Spain; you'd be lucky to go a day without at least one article about how oppresed women are or how men are not doing enough to battle all the gender gaps they can imagine.

Anyway I tend to agree with Luisaceo and VVVV, there's a lot of institutional feminism and the media is filled with it but the average Spanish guy don't give a fuck about it. At least until you decide to divorce.

That's sexist, it assumes women wear skirts which is ridiculous. It's 2016!

I'm guessing you've never checked out eldiario. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Shit, I forgot about that one, haha. I don't check Eldiario if I can avoid it, the few times I did it I felt like it was another (progressive) dimension.

Regarding El País I was referring to the sad fact that it is the most popular newspaper in Spain so its brainwashing is more effective. I'll left eldiario to Podemos supporters.

Would you be able to explain how getting married in Spain is worse than getting married in the U.S or Canada?

Plenty of dudes lose out in divorce in North America too, what makes Spain unique in your opinion?

Feminazis in Spain - is it really that bad?

I'm Spanish and frankly, there's way more feminazis among your average group of students in the UK than in Spain (not to mention girls with short/blue hair etc). It is true that things might be getting a bit worse now with the far left gaining support (Podemos party). They are trying to push their gender ideology into the mainstream but currently things are better than in Northern/Western Europe. Generally speaking, Spain has practically no pc culture like in the UK/US and your average girl has more gf potential than in the anglosphere. The main reason prostitution is so common is because a lot of guys have no game and girls generally don't put out easily - outside of Madrid and Barcelona there's very little hookup culture and ONS among locals (many students live with their parents). For the most part, your average spanish guy will spend many months of little or no sex in between serious girlfriends so it's basically either a monogamous relationship or nothing. Finally, I disagree when people say that "Spain or Portugal are bad countries for men" etc. Mediterranean countries have great cultures and lifestyles and it's easy to live a more relaxed life where you are not constantly thinking about chasing new pussy.

Bumping this old thread. After living here for a few years I think I now understand the generally more conservative social dynamics of young women here in Spain. Whereas in the U.S. for example young students usually choose a college far away from the place they grew up in it's customary for young Spaniards to go to a local college. So if you grew up in Madrid then that's where you usually (not always) will choose a university, if you grew up in Barcelona or Valencia then that's where you'll be looking to go.

This has a lot to do with the fact that Spaniards feel no family pressure at all to leave the nest and still living with one's parents even into your early 30s is perfectly accepted and not frowned upon any potential girlfriend or boyfriend. Of course the advantage to that is that you won't be paying for a dorm or a room somewhere near your college and your mommy is going to do your laundry, cook for you, etc. Spanish teens usually do not look for a job on the side and offering them one (e.g. a nanny job) is often considered an insult. They are supposed to be studying and not working is the general attitude. What can I say - different strokes for different folks.

The downside to staying at home during your college years are that there aren't many opportunities to be sexually promiscuous, for one your parents are going to be on your ass if you keep bringing home different girls. For the guys it's even worse because girls who have grown up with a tight social circle care quite a lot about their reputation knowing that their circle of friends will most likely be judging their actions and their choices all the way into adulthood. It doesn't really help that young Spaniards aren't encouraged to explore the world, most don't even venture far beyond their own region when it comes to starting a family or finding a job. It's a very regional almost xenophobic mindset and even other parts of Spain are often avoided or at least are considered 2nd choice. Again, this is a generalization, there are many Spaniards these days who seek their luck all across the world, but many actually end up returning to Spain after a few years.

Anyway, so to circle back as to why young Spanish women are difficult to crack by outsiders: The girls usually don't have their own place and even if they stay out at night they'll not only have to render an account to their parents but often to their social circle as well, e.g. 'did you really go home with that American last night?' Their best option is to find a stable boyfriend and stick with him for longer periods of time as to not become known as a slut or an easy lay by their social circle. And quite frankly a ton of guys here are so cookie-cutter that it almost doesn't matter which one you choose (personal opinion - not meaning to offend the Spanish forum members here).

Quite often do I see young couples out at night sitting on benches and in plazas chatting for hours on end. After a few hours there's usually a bit of petting and kissing but nobody really gets laid. Unless maybe the kid has a car and there's a place nearby that's more private (population density is high here in Spain in urban zones). I see those poor shmucks and think to myself that I would have lost interest after about 20 minutes back in my bad boy days. If getting my dick wet wasn't a high probability, why wast my time?

All that taken together creates a pretty traditional and conservative attitude among the young, and college years in Spain are not usually known to be full of sexual escapades. Girls find themselves a steady boyfriend who pretty much serves as their submissive doormat (yes, Spaniards have no game) for several years and quite often even becomes their husband. There's a funny term here called 'pagafanta' - it roughly translates into 'guy who buys her a Fanta', so it's the Spanish version of a submissive beta-male who's at the beckon call of whoever Spanish girl he's courting.

Now every spring and summer arrive all those horny foreigners trying to plant their Spanish flags. Most however quickly find out that Spanish women in general aren't easy game for the aforementioned reasons. Even good looking Spaniards have it tough and I can't tell you how many times I have seen very handsome muscular guys schlepp around girlfriends several notches below their potential SMV. What's worse is that most of those girls have a bossy attitude to boot and don't seem at all appreciative of how damn lucky they are. Many of those guys would be killing it back in the States but of course they'll never know as they rarely if ever leave their own region.

There is one big exception to the rule however: A Spanish woman on vacation in a different city in Spain or abroad. The further they are from their native home the sluttier and the same girl who will pass up an SMV9 with tight game hitting on her in a club at home will quickly put out for a loser SMV6 when visiting Paris, NY, L.A. etc.

Spanish women are easy lays and sexually available when traveling but at home they turn into little prudish feminazi Saints, so don't waste your time. It's much easier trying to pick up another tourist than attempting to waste your game on a Spanish women surrounded by her social circle. At best she'll waste your time and leave you with blueballs. The same probably applies in many parts of the Mediterranean.

I hope this sheds a bit more light on the social and sexual dynamics here in Spain. And yes, a pretty high number of Spanish men (probably more than half) regularly frequent nudie bars and bordellos (i.e. puti clubs) as it's pretty difficult to get laid by going to a club or bar, especially in your own town. Sexual frustration ranks high and the growing feminazi movement courtesy of Podemos and their ilk have not helped matters.

I agree with almost everything you said.
Since you are the expert, do you notice any regional differences outside the obvious cities of Madrid and Barcelona?

Is there a college age hookup scene in cities with big universities like Salamanca, Sevilla, Santiago de Comp and Granada?

Good to know this info as I used to have a fascination with Spain, especially Madrid. However, you get a large pick of tourists and immigrant chicas from SA like Venezuela which seemed much more dtf. I still felt Madrid was an easier place to get laid than Krakow for example, even though I didn't, I saw potential.

Physically speaking many (but not all) Spanish women keep in great shape and in general have a pretty good shelf life, assuming they didn't burn their face off in the Mediterranean sun. It's actually quite rare to see a middle-aged fatty and a lot of middle-aged women remain pretty active and are always on their feet. Quite a few of them also keep their long hair and it goes without saying that they are always dressed impeccably.

The main problem however is that 80% of them are jaded feministas and whatever may have remained of their innocence in their 20s will be gone. Although I do get pretty good vibes from them on average, being a middle-aged guy myself, I don't really sense that they are down to play much. Again, the social circle restrictions applies and I get the impression that their lives are pretty tightly packed including frequent family gatherings, hobbies, career, friends, etc. Remember again that this is a catholic country and although there is a bit of 'poner los cuernos' going on Spanish women are on average super conservative.

Though I bet that if you meet any of them on their own, perhaps during a business trip, they would be down to play. So in summary nothing really changes much as Spanish women get older, pre- and post-wall.
