They were beta since day one

I love that fucking car. It's alpha as fuck because it destroys cars that are worth 5 times the money I have spent on it and I see about one ther mr2 every 2 months.

It will be the only constant in my life because I have decreed this.

This is just terrible. A beta ride in a bright look at me color. It's like wearing a purse and wondering why people are staring at you.

I've been thinking of buying one of these.
Postal jeep cool as fuck. My buddy had one with a keg tap on the dash. On weekends he would put a 1/4 keg in the back and pour beers and cruise beaches and party stops (1980s)

Well you have to be kinda alpha to keep that thing running and shift on the opposite side. Also knowing at anytime you may have to push it home.

Thumbs up!

What's up with the spoiler and the wal-mart hubcaps? Just because it's a beater doesn't mean it can't look a little cool. Beta.

I think those are both beta and this is why. I work on them or did. Every single person who drives one is in beta denial. I had to stop listening to them cry like a bitches when they find out what it takes to fix them. Then they go online and try to order shit as cheap as possible but when it comes to cosmetics they spend.

I would go as far as to call them "beta compensation mobiles"

Honda Fit 5spd manual, black. No queer spoiler or accessories. I'm guessing beta, but in my defense, I'll plead that the thing gets 40mpg and has lots of room with the fold-down seats for getting it on, which I have actually done, once, in a Wal-Mart parking lot to boot. Daily driver.

What I drove in high school: It still sits in my mom's driveway, and one of these days I will give it the complete brake rebuild it needs and get it driving again. I was a fatass in HS. This one has the 332 Y block and gets about 8mpg.

Currently on my porch.
You're 0-3 as well. The Fit is one step up from the ultimate beta car Prius

That old thing could be cool with some work.

The Indian Enfield. Copied by Indians do I need to say more?

OK "El Mecannico", you've thrown down the glove! This was my car and I've got dozens of pix to prove it with me in most of them!
I also have some fun stories to go with it like the time I parked it in
front of a Houston night club and came out to find about a dozen "10's" begging for rides.
I have always found it fascinating that a car company can bend metal into a certain shape and drive people wild with desire.
BTW - that Countach's AC didn't work worth a damn, the 45lb clutch killed you in traffic, the insurance was a $1000/month so I didn't insure it, the ground clearance was so low you dinged up the bottom on most driveways, seats didn't adjust, couldn't hear the stereo even though the speakers were mounted in the seats next to your head, etc.
However that V12 with 460hp was killer when you punched it! 0 to 100mph in 3rd gear and I still had two more gears to go. Redlined at 8000rpm......
I sold it for $25,000 in 1985 and now they are worth over $200K......such is life!

Just think, these gals are all grandmothers by now.......but they will always remember riding in the Countach! Oh they did get some other benefits I might add........[Image: smile.gif]

One night a crazy Mexican ultimate Alpha guy and I were out in Dallas bar hopping. After a few stops we were pulled by the Dallas cops. Arturo was driving so they took him off to jail. They asked if I was sober enough to drive (yep, them were the good old days when even the cops were somewhat reasonable, no breath analysers then, they hadn't been invented).
The cop that pulled us was a pretty good looking blond woman. Arturo of course proceeds to try to pick her up in the Jail! The cops thought this was too much and being in tune with such an Alpha display collected a $200 fine we were on our way! It's called cohones big time!

A couple more Countach shots. The 300ZX Turbo wasn't a bad chick magnet too...... The Rolls Royce Corniche, RHD, 2 door was unbelievable in attraction. It was a 1967, 20 years old at the time, but with that leather and hood ornament, it almost wasn't fair ! [Image: smile.gif]
