No I'm serious, this was from my connect. They will be preoccupied.
I could have just made this a regular visit ignoring that but the deed is done. I've already made some changes.

Is NYC really so different in June?

I am not saying it will be different it June.

What I am saying is it wont be different during the film festival.

If you are so concerned, why don't you just go to the film festival as well?

I am. Thought I made that clear. My focus in April will however be on exhibitions, museums, Michelin star restaurants, Carnegie Hall, comedy clubs and hole-in-the-wall speak easies. I'll consider it a dry run.

I can't imagine why NYC would be any different in June, the girls will be outside more and wearing less.

Unless you simply mean some small % of babes will be in East Hampton. Shouldn't affect you much really.

Wow you plan to go hard, glad you canceled out on the outer boroughs, honestly with the exception the train route on the L line into williamsburg (as far as dekalb ave only) then going elsewhere outside of manhattan is a waste. Daytime...
- Hipsters = LES and east village
- Soho = Fashion Crowd & Students
- Washington Square Park = NYU Students
- Union Square = Hipsterish Students
- Midtown 5th ave or 7th ave = More Business-like women
- Time Square = Tourist

Tribeca Film Festival may cause restaurants to be packed BUT not nightlife. These people are out and about all day, they won't make it into the night generally. However, NY has lots of "trendy" or "scene" restaurants that may have hotties in case you feel like grabbing a bite and still having hot women...
- Lavo
- Catch
- Abe & Arthurs
- Darby
- STK
- Bagatelle
- Lambs Club
- Balthazar
- MPD
- Marble Lane
- The General

One aspect though is with such cash flow your doing yourself a disservice by not hitting the night scene ESPECIALLY on saturday with day and night brunch along with Sunset party at PHD... (Quality is amazing!!)

You can easily do a 100-150 whether it be 1oak, SL, phd, finale, lavo. You won't be disappointed at the talent especially since they tend to be the most consistently packed of all so its not like you'll show up and it'll be empty.

Hope to hear back on how your trip went

Power trip 2013 - New York City

So, completed my dry run and gained some valuable updated intel on the city. I haven't had a proper visit to NYC for two years and that was in the winter time so even if I know the city there are new things I've leared that I'll put to good use when I come back in June just concentrating on the talent.

Some anecdotes and notes.

- It seems as if tons of cats in NYC are well-dressed during the day at work and then mess it up when they go out in the night. Still the best dressed city in the US, though not as buff as Miami.

- Manhattan might just be the most target rich environment on the planet for game even if you subtract the overweight one.

- I went to an All-you-can-eat at a large BBQ place. It was probably one of the most obscene and decadent things I've done in a long time. Bending a 19 yo over a pool table doesn't even compare. It was the very picture of American excess and waste, and I f**king loved it!

- Old King Cole Bar in the St Regis Hotel. The clientele looks like a who's whom of older playboys and the younger models looking to curry their favour.

- New Yorker will let you know the score fast, they aren't particularly diplomatic (some might say even rude). You could easily do 20 quality walkups in an afternoon here and have a good idea what kind of chances you have with any numbers gained. Insta-dates will be tougher, everyone's going somewhere.

Do you have a name and/or an address for this place. I'm not a big fan of buffets, but it still sounds interesting.

Ah, well I'm actually thinking about not even leaving the 5 boroughs (maybe Jersey if I can pinpoint where the Brazilian enclave hangs out). Thanks for the offer though.

There's some good churrascaria (like a Brazilian all-you-can-eat) joints in NYC and Newark. Try Plataforma in Hell's Kitchen, or the Ironbound neighborhood in Newark. Fernandes was always my favorite spot in Newark, great food and waitresses right off the boat from Portugal and Brazil.

Some places in Newark are cash-only, so don't bring credit cards only.

Went at 8pm a Wednesday night. Place is likely always popping since it's just of 5th Avenue. Just 3 min walk form equally swanky roof top lounge Salon De Ning in The Peninsula hotel which is also filled with a similar crowd.

Great thread. I'm hitting NYC for Mem day weekend (Thurs evening - Mon morning). I'm going to have free reign day and night to just game. Any updated boots on the ground intel? This will be my first time in the city this year so I imagine a lot has changed. I've done the high end thing in the MPD and, frankly, I think I'd prefer bars/lounges instead. You take big hits partying in the MPD for what I think is incommensurate ROI. Still cool and receptive chicks though. Instead, I'm thinking of hitting LES and the Village this time so any venue intel would be appreciated. I also need intel for prime day game areas.

You know what I saw most of all when I was in MPD in the night (Abe & Arthur's + STK) last month?

Tourists.

Tourists everywhere.

Obviously that has its perks (vacation mode) but they are almost always in groups and you're not getting that New York girl that's always complaining about the lack of single guys in town.

Ive been here about 2 weeks so far....ive never kissed so many girls in my life in a short amount of time. however converting to bangs has not been as easy...Also from my limited experience so far high end clubs are not a good ROI when there are so many bars in the villages and LES with nice girls..im finding being a foreigner or saying your from out of town is a HUGE advantage..just about every American girl that lives here has told me how much she hates NYC men.....so its been good for me! lol

Also its kinda of scary how many gay guys have hit on me as well....just to warn you when your out....

Yeah. That seems to be the case in a lot of places I've been. When I see attractive girls out at night these days they are usually roaming in large packs.

We need to stop with this whole "so many bars in..." thing.

Name some names.

Throw it down.

Hit up a penthouse at the Mondrian SoHo last night.

Room was kind of small, but the beds were outrageously comfortable. The balcony was humongous and offered iconic views of the city.

I passed through the front of the hotel and didn't linger, but from the 30 seconds spent in the lobby, there appeared to be a very happening hotel bar/lounge with some absolute lookers.

Location was spot on, a block north of the Canal St. subway and in the more happening part of SoHo. NYCers know SoHo can be dead in some areas after the lights go down.

HC - I'm with you on preferring bars/lounges over the MPD clubs. Here's a few recommendations for bars in LES and the Village.

Disclaimer - I only moved back to NY recently so some of these are current recs and the others are what I remember from a few years ago.

Jadis wine bar is a great spot, real cool place, great menu, beautiful women. Good for dates especially.

Ludlow St is like the epicenter for LES bars. There's a few, I always liked Piano's best. Tons of people on the streets at night, easy to game girls walking from one spot to another.

The crowd around here is pretty hipster, but there's always fly girls in numbers. Just reread the G classic "Behind Enemy Lines" before going.

Pravda - pretty cool Russian style joint.

Happy Ending - A lounge that apparently used to be a happy ending massage joint. Younger crowd, some good DJ's, met some Asian girls here and also a few Russians back in the day. But I haven't been there in years.

SOB's (Sounds of Brazil) on Houston was always one of my favorite spots. Lots of latina and black girls here and great music. Or at least there used to be, also haven't been back there in years.

Check out Josie Woods Pub in the Village for NYU girls. Trust me on this one, you'll blow away the competition.

For day game you could try the running/biking path on the west side near Pier 40. On nice days you'll have about a million fly girls running by. But like Freddy_1 said, nearby Christopher St. is a big gay neighborhood, you're definitely gonna get approached haha.

On any given Saturday afternoon you'll find about a million fly girls lounging around the shops in SoHo, so give this a shot for day game too.

Man, given how much of a target rich environment NYC is, it's great that the concept of a sex tourist will never be part of NYC lexicon because the difference between a foreigner and a local is so grey. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent. This may very well be my sole guide for my weekend in NYC. Much appreciated. I also just read G's article. Had no idea he was writing back in '05. That's a long time. This part had me laugh out loud. "Get the bouncers on your team. Most bouncers haven’t had a good day since the last football game of the season Senior year of High School."

I'm in NYC right now. Amazing place. I went out to Ludlow St in the LES last night. It was relatively quiet surprisingly. Too many dudes were in Piano bar that they weren't even letting guys in without chicks. But you could see the inside from the street and it looked pretty lame in there. Moved onto Beauty & Essex, Hotel Chantel (?), Leftfield, and a couple of other spots but it was wack. Saw a 9 (face, but wearing sandals unfortunately) inside of Leftfield and approached but she was crazy in the head. Part of a big bday crew but she gave me free shot. She was too drunk to make coherent plans with me. Decided to nip it in the bud and move onto Josie's. Typical college bar kind of atmosphere but completely dead since school is out for the year.

So I split with my boy Eros International since he has work in the morning and decided to go uptown to Lavo (58th and Madison) solo dolo. Man, oh man! I would be hard pressed to believe there was a more stacked venue in America last night. Straight up. I have never been to a venue in America with that many hot girls. Not even hyping. There were endless international fly girls of every stripe. The bouncer was a complete douche of course but luckilly I had a promoter connect through a friend. Without a connect, what you'll need to do if you're by yourself or with just guys is recruit some chicks from the line and say you got a friend who promotes and you can get them through. Take them to the front and the bouncer will be cool than if you had no chicks. I saw some immaculately dressed dudes get turned away at the door for not having chicks. Heartbreaking.

Steve Aoki was DJ'ing last night and it was insanely packed. Like to the point you can't even move so I decided not to drop $100 to deal with that shit and not even have fun since I was trying to game not enjoy a show. I think some dude posted an article in a thread on here about the inner workings of NYC nightlife and that when these big name DJ's come it's pretty much the worst time to be at a venue.

Instead what I did was hang out near the entrance where people go to have a smoke. I don't even smoke but I had a few cigs. It was that serious. I've never seen so many fly girls smoking. It was like 2:30am when I got there and it closed at 4 but I did talk to some chicks and got a couple numbers. I met a pair of girls that looked European but were actually from Panama. I also talked to some chicks from Brazil. It was very unique. I just can't think of too many places that have that kind of high end diversity.

Right now I'm about to head over to Union Square for some day game.

I highly recommend you cats make Lavo your THURSDAY night move whenever you're in NYC. Checkout their FB page and make sure it's not a night where a big name DJ is playing and you're good. My boy Eros really wanted to roll as the last two times he was there it was epic. Keep in mind though it's relatively isolated since most venues are downtown in the MPD. You're not going to find anything around Lavo that far up. It's a Thursday night move.

Steve Aoki last night inside Lavo (pic from the club's fb page)

Yeah it was poppin at Lavo though LES was quiet for sure. I guess the idea is if you know where to go there's always something to get into. Right now it's raining pretty hard so I've ducked into a coffee shop in the village. Going to wait for the rain to die down and then hit USquare. When do you think you're going to return?
