Neil, unless you have a hollywood agent you are wasting your time.

Hey, I haven't started focusing on the business part yet. I'll start with that a month before I leave. First I need to get going with the script itself. I'm saying goodbye to a girl who lives in my place this weekend and from Monday on I'll go full blast on the rewriting. No more new girls for a while for me. Business first.

Hey guys,

I just finished the first draft of the screenplay : Around the world in 80 girls.
It's 117 pages long so that's means nearly 2 hours (one page = one minute). I will try to cut it back to 110 pages which is preferred by the industry.

I still have to edit/rewrite the hell out of it but at least the first draft is finished.
I can now concentrate on improving the script. I'm planning to do this for the next three months including having it proofread by professionals.

My plan is to move to Hollywood/Los Angeles in June or July and try and sell the script to a production company. I will stay about 3 months (depends on the funds I have by then)

I see no negatives to this. In the best case I earn quite some dough and add some fame to my game. In the worst case and I have a cool and interesting story to tell for the rest of my life about that time I wrote a script and moved to Hollywood and maybe write another (shorter) book.

Well, the worst case would actually be being shot in some gang related drive by but let's be positive.

I welcome all the info and advice regarding the script and living in LA (on the cheap of course)

Cheers!

PS, The whole thing is already copyrighted and so is my book. Don't get any ideas haha

Sounds dope bro. And I don't mean to be a buzz kill, but wouldn't it be a bad thing to bring so much male attention to this? Like putting it in a step by step ready to sell Hollywood package for all the grab asses in the clubs back stateside to look and say "dude we gotta go to Latvia next summer!!"? I mean all us old dogs in Europe are already seeing the change, but a movie like yours would for sure bring doom to the last few bastions of hope left for a young PUA to thrive. I can just see it now, swarms of American tourists spilling out of the airport in Ukraine and the Philippines looking for an easy lay.

Just saying. Not hating bro. Make your milli's that's what counts.

Not really worried about that. In that case we should fear sites like this and all movies about romance. Besides that I don't think that most Americans are willing to go through the same thing as me and especially not the character in the screenplay.

On the other hand. I would be hailed like a king in those countries for bringing in the extra tourism millions.

Yo Neil,
How about creating your own Youtube Channel or even better, put video updates weekly or every 2-3 days on the places you go. Much better to build a good following like this. I also believe your material is too hardcore and un-pc for the Hollywood crowd who caters mostly to the gays, manginas and betas in America. The only way I'd see Hollywood agreeing to screeing anything like what you are suggesting is by you playing down a few notches all the alpha/red pill stuff and make it more blue pill/mainstream. Which would be quite a pity IMO.

Ideally you want to be in total control of your material and what gets published and the only way to assure that is through your own site.

What do you think amigo?

- The youtube thing I should have done while traveling. Maybe in the future.
- The screenplay won't be hardcore blue to red pill as the book but it won't be some blue pill mangina movie also. You guys have to wait and see what I come up with in the next months. A lot is still undecided for the screenplay.

Vacation Permanent don't worry. I've already taken care of that for Neil. I wrote him a Hollywood sanitized script. I just published it on my site. It covers all the bases. Let me know what you think.

I just read that one. Very funny, looking forward to reading the second part. Although I must say that this is not what a screenplay looks like. A screenplay looks nothing like usual writing.

Haha, not the lead role but I'm definitely asking for a small cameo/role if the movie gets made.

Yes, I know the format is wrong. It's just a synopsis of script. Part 2 has more twists, just like Part 1. It's very melodramatic.

I've already written a satire of Naughty Nomad too. Haven't done anything with Roosh's "Dead Bat in Paraguay" because I still haven't read it. Will get to that one later.

Hope you guys like the "Around the World in 80 Girls: the Hollywood Script" satire. Post your comments.

Wachowski siblings sued over 'The Matrix' sequels

March 4, 2013, 4:17 PM EST

Filmmaking siblings Andy and Lana Wachowski are facing a $300 million lawsuit over allegations they stole the premise for their two "The Matrix" sequels.

The directing duo has been accused by Thomas Althouse of copying the ideas for "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolutions" from a script he claims to have submitted to executives at Warner Bros. Pictures, the studio behind the franchise, in 1993.

Althouse, whose work was titled "The Immortals," never heard back from Warner Bros. bosses, and alleges he didn't realize the similarities between the work of the Wachowskis and his own script until he checked out the Keanu Reeves films in 2010, seven years after the two sequels were released.

In his legal papers, obtained by editors at TMZ, Althouse suggests the plugs in the back of the characters' necks and robotic agents dressed in suits were among the ideas lifted from his screenplay.

Warner Bros. heads and producer Joel Silver have also been named as defendants in the copyright infringement battle, alongside Andy and Lana Wachowski, formerly known as Larry. In addition to his $300 million demand, Althouse is requesting a share of the $1.63 billion the trilogy grossed at the global box office.

I decide to put a (few) red pill references in the script. This short piece of dialogue actually happened to me a few times in different parts of the world but I didn't mention it in the book (including a 100 other small details). Some people have difficulties understanding my name, especially in Asia. In the west most people know a person or celeb called Neil so this doesn't happen there.

Neil
Hey How are you? I'm Neil.

Girl
Neo? From the matrix?

Neil
Haha, no it's Neil but I did take a red pill recently.

Girl
Huh what?

Neil
oh nothing blablabla (continue with pick up scene)

I have a kick ass scene about a red pill but I'm not giving that one away.
I'm about to write the 3rd draft but I'm always open for new ideas if someone has one.

Thanks for reading the book. Glad you enjoyed it.

I changed nearly all of the names. I used names that looked like the original names or started with the same letter(s).

Sometimes I used names I liked and/or are relevant. For example. The Japanese girl I was with in Thailand I named Kishiko which means "child of the seashore" which was relevant since we were on Ko Phi Phi, an island.

Darren didn't mind that I used his real name and thought it was pretty cool he was mentioned in a real book. I put him in the screenplay too in quite a prominent role.

One name I completely changed was of the Russian girls to absolutely protect their privacy.

Little heads up Neil, wait until you get over there to get it printed/bound etc, as the agents/producers over there will want it i U.S Letter, rather than A4. This may also effect your current page count. Depending on whether you have it formatted as U.S Letter currently on your screenwriting software.

Good luck to you. It's a tough gig trying to sell a script AND then having it made into a film.

One of my best friends is a documentary filmmaker and he's also sold several scripts. I was in one of his movies in 2000, Jerks, and I eventually went to the Cannes Film Festival because of it. Selling a script is difficult but having it made into a film is a long shot. Quite a lot of scripts die on the vine and never get anywhere. At the very least, you're going to Hollywood can at least lay the groundwork. My buddy makes his movies, recoups his money, makes a little, and gives him the credibility to make another movie. If you do manage to sell the script, hopefully you'll get enough to pay for your living expenses for another year or so or better yet, make a large chunk.

Unfortunately I found this out the hard way just last week and I was forced to cut 10 pages at once and rewrite a few scenes. No need to say I was in total panic and discouragement when I found out. I wanted to jump of my balcony.

The screenwriting program I use is Final draft (a 250$ program and industry standard) and even though I read the whole manual back to back and made sure I used the right format setting, this stupid program used the A4 setting of my printer to set the format. So for 6 months I have been working in the wrong format and had printed out a few drafts already.

No need to say I completely flipped and ranted about the completely illogical measurement system the US has: Fahrenheit, miles, lbs, inch, feet, am/pm, us letter format, 110 volts and of course soccer.

I consider sending Final Draft an angry email about how the basically screw the rest of the world with this ridiculous setting. They could at least warn you for it with a simple fucking pop up or something.

No matter how you set the program it will automatically use your printer setting which is A4 outside the US. It's ridiculous that I have to change the printer settings every time I want to screenwrite.

I now installed the program on my laptop which is set to the US letter format setting. But now I'm like 3 weeks behind on the writing and had to sacrifice some awesome scenes and dialogues.

@teedub I read that you screenwrite too. Maybe we can help each other out. I can send you a copy of nthe script once I copyright it.

I am here for the American dream but I don't have grand illusions about how I'm gonna be a millionaire or something. It's my one shot chance to do something big in life so of course i'm going for it..

I do have some other ideas for a script but let me see how this one goes first.

Break a leg man. Have you thought self-making the movie? Otherwise you'll have to face all the censorship, pc and lost of creative control of your movie under the dictate of those who pay for it.

Maybe crowdfunding, something like they did in this movie:

You need a studio to make a movie so much as you need a publishing house to distribute a book nowadays.

Err, wrong! Taking a "shot" would imply that you know what you are doing. But you don't. You are just another clueless guy who is hurting himself by spinning his own hamster of conviction pursuing the hail-mary strategy based on nothing but empty hope.

Firstly, you have to face it that you are an overseas eurotrash nobody in a town full of international nobodies, dreamers, hustlers, and swindlers. Millions of idiots like you had your exact same plan. So the sheer numbers are against you.

Secondly, even if you had a great idea that may miraculously be interesting to someone, and you don't, if you are eurotrash nobody the studios will steal it from you by simply masking the story, rearranging the plot, changing characters... That town is built on power and there is no reason for them to court the unknown eurotrash when their hired guns can take your work and do over what you did a million times better than you.

Thirdly, you are making a classic mistake by going to Hollywood (what are you 12?), instead of having Hollywood come to you. You don't go there to beg, plead, and sell, your unproven script among the millions scripts already floating. What you do is do the work in your country and make it successful in your local, national or regional market, and then you seek opportunities in other markets. Or rather, they find you.
