Has anyone read The Manipulated Man?

I found a free pdf copy on the internet after some googling and I read the entire book in a sitting. I'm not sure if this should go into the game forum or what, so I put it here instead.

This book is easily the most caustic and honest description of the female gender I have ever read. If there was anything to convince me to move overseas, it would probably be this book. She makes a case that the American (beta) male is the most manipulated of all men and I'm inclined to agree. The Manipulated Man doesn't include any definition of alpha, but I would hazard a guess to say that they have it better than women through sheer balls. In the context of what I read, I would say that being alpha means that you're comfortable with your bachelor freedom and you're able to fulfill your sexual desires with noncommittal sex on a fairly regular basis. That sounds obvious to some, sure, but that's what I got out of what I read.

After reading this book, it left me with some questions as to what I should do. I think the only answer is internalize good game, because you're getting what you want from women (their vaginas) and they don't get to saddle your ass with debt as long as you're realistic that they don't have much else to offer besides their looks and reproductive organs.

I think the problem for most men (I don't even want to use term blue or red pill here) is that this sort of subservience and "pride" is brainwashed into us at such an early age that sooner or later, most of us are going to want to settle down. I've seen this in other manosphere youtube clips where they describe men as human "do-ings" rather than human beings because our worth is directly linked to what we can produce. We keep women around for a few reasons, foremost their looks and, when that fades, the offspring. Femininity as we know it was the older form of control; the woman feigns a form of helplessness and spends all kinds of time doing inane shit like makeup and folding clothes and "sacrificing herself" so that her man has "the privilege" to go to work. The man being proud to support his family is no different from a dog who is proud to pull his master's sled with more force than another.

The player bucks this system somewhat because he produces a tingly vagina and thus serves his own sexual interest with no real concern for what the woman gets in the future out of the deal.

There's so much to this book that I'll probably have to read it a couple more times to completely grasp it's notions.

I highly recommend this book. I am still surprised that a woman wrote it.

It is a great book. Even Roosh said he had never read anything like it.

The girl who wrote it is a lesbian. So - that might be why a woman was capable of being so caustic in her analysis of male/female relations.

I hate reading ebooks. But in this case - it was short enough to read in about an hour online. So - I would recommend others do so as well.

Here is what Roosh said about the book - http://www.rooshv.com/the-manipulated-man

And here is a previous thread on the book - http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-9439.html

Here is a video in which Esther Vilar has a debate with a feminist who disagrees with everything she says. It is kind of fun as well to see how much prettier she is than the sad dowdy feminist who is arguing with her - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvnxvAwSu-0

--------------------------------

As for the book itself. One thing that stuck with me is the way that men are programmed by society to find something they are good at. And after years of study - they are expected to spend the rest of their career only working in that field.

She makes the obvious point - that no matter how interested you are in a subject. It might become a bit of a bore (at least for some men) if they have to spend the next 40 years working in that field. But men are expected to do this in order to keep making more and more money.

For many men - to question whether or not they want to spend the rest of their lives working in a field is to be accused of not growing up or of having an early 'mid-life crisis'. And such behaviour will usually alienate the women in their lives.

I can relate to this since in my teens I was fascinated by theoretical physics. And later on I was fascinated by philosophy. Whereas now I don't spend much time studying those fields. I often wonder if many lecturers, professors or professionals in such fields find themselves stuck in subjects that they once loved but which they now find a bit of a chore?

Even a favourite toy becomes boring to a child if played with every day.

I should have checked the forum to see if someone already made a thread about it.

Seriously though, this might be one of the best books I have ever read. It really reinforces the idea that we should go our own way.

Looks like the youtube video is in German, too. I'll get a chance to see how good/shitty my German is after being out of the country for a few months.

The link to the debate I gave jumps straight to the 28 minute mark for some reason. So - just scroll back to the beginning to watch all of it.

And at the bottom of the video is a small grey icon in the shape of a bar (towards the right-hand side of the video). If you click on that it will turn the English captions on.

I'm gonna search for a copy of this book soon. I really hope it lives up to the hype, apparently it's an amazing take-down of modern female psychology.

I've been reading it, and it's almost too dark for my tastes. Going to pick it back up after I digest the first half for a few days.

I just got done watching the video. Damn, she's pretty good at arguing with those feminist trolls.

One thing I really like was when she said that she isn't accusing women of abusing a certain situation or that they're taking advantage of men, but that above all, they're still whining that it's not enough and they're unworthy to do so.

I really hope America flushes feminism down the philosophical shitpipe from whence it came. I realize now that marriage is a form of manipulation and all that, but it would be so much nicer if our women weren't she-beasts to boot.

I resd this book a few years ago, and it's a mind fucker alright. It's somewhat dsted in that it was written when stay at home wives were the norm. However, you can easily apply the points she makes to modern times.

The book is extremely harsh in describing female behavior and thinking about men, almost too harsh, and yet basically accurate. She's so harsh that I would say in this case, NAWALT might actually be true.

I'm curious OTR, what recent post analysis did you have in mind?

I think chicks like her, still feminine, still composed, slim, soft hypnotic voices, and intellectually formidable at the same time are pretty attractive.

Reading the book I thought she would turn out to be real caustic sort, and then I came across this debate she had with a feminist:

Look at how gently and with such composure she holds her frame and stares down the harpy feminist.

This is what girls like Lauren Southern and Britanny Pettibone should be shooting for. It is alluring and persuasive. Better than triggering people and getting fox urine dumped on you.

She can even make the German language sound musical.

She even gets that feminist hag to threaten to sue her for defamation because of what she wrote about women in general.

In this picture she looks like about a 4:

When she is animated and speaking on the video though, I find her attractive. Granted, I don't know if these pictures are from different times in her life, but if women only worked on being gentle, feminine, and pleasing, it really would raise their SMV.

To paraphrase an exasperated Erin Pizzey:

@debeguiled, I completely agree with you. She is average looking at best, but her demeanor is particularly feminine - her voice, her smile, her gestures. Its her femininity that makes her attractive.

Thank you for posting this video. Worth watching all the way through.

It does make one's blood boil when you see this feminazi doing nothing more than calling her names and condemning her without going into specifics. There was never any intellectual ground for feminism to stand on, and this "debate" just underscores that sad fact.

This video was recorded in 1975. You can't say we didn't have plenty of warning. Western man has been asleep at the wheel for decades, and much of the horror we are now experiencing has been a long time coming.

The book is now on my reading list.

In '75, even the man hating lesbos were restrained by today's standards.
