In terms of western girls, French girls are great in my opinion. Parisians are full of themselves, but overall they're generally slimmer, they're more feminine, and smarter than their American counterparts in my experience. Girls from Lyon are generally nice and slutty.

I say this as a half French/American guy who has spent a few years in France, and whose most attractive girlfriend to date was a frenchie.

I am in France now and if I can add a little info on the subject women here are much much better shaped than New Orleans. The quality and variety is huge! Unfortunately since I've been back here I haven't yet hooked up with anything to rave over, but I am optimistic. Soon as the weather warms up things get easier and people become happier.
In my opinion having some French under your belt is kinda a must. I can't see making anything big happen with a language problem but, I my be wrong!

Don't know much about French girls, I've only banged a French Canadian. I think here you could just use a little calibration. I would have gone with:

In the other hand, if you go the Catalan region, like Perpignan, in this case you can face some issues. Same as in Corsica. Yes, I mentioned 3rd-tier cities for a reason... Because girls in those regions are more prone to experience new things since they don't have much exposure to exotic happenings.

You can find attractive French girls all over France, it's the mentality that they have which counts, and the Corsicans don't have a very welcoming tune to mainlanders, let alone foreigners. I was born in France and was living here for more than 25 years. I've been to 90% of the places you mentioned.

I would suggest to anyone learning French for the first time or reviving what he learnt before, to practice speaking phonetics and drilling verb tables.

The French accent and rhythm is the most difficult element to learn for an Anglophone so it is best getting this sorted from the outset as there is no point mastering French grammar and vocabulary if you are not confident about being understood orally.

I have not met one French person of either gender I liked. I was in Paris for a day and barely remember it.

French girls in the States though that visit as students, vacationers, au pairs whatever are never remarkably hot or likable in any way that I have seen. Their body language and gestures alone have a cuntiness about them.

French people I like. My ex is French. I ended it because she wanted me to abandon everything and move there from the states. Nope.

French girls are beautiful and take care of themselves and have good eating habits. All of the French girls I've met know how to cook. They're not addicted to smart phones. They like traditional culture, but hold particularly liberal points of view on everything. Not a lot of downsides, but I can tell you breaking up with mine was the worst I've ever experienced, even worse than my divorce. They take relationships seriously once their in it, I just wasn't there. Also, the American sense of humor doesn't work very well, so being a clown is probably not the best strategy.

French guys are a little bit macho and little bit sensitive, and it's a good combination I think - American guys could learn a thing or two. They know how to play the ying and the yang with women.

My girlfriend was from Paris, but more from a working class family. I've met French people from other parts of the country and they're solid people. Kind of Midwest in a way but without the fake nice and bad eating habits.
